You may be interested to know that he also rode in France in 1967 in a squad that also included, George Bason, Stan Tebby, Bob Warner, Nigel Rackett. Sorry, I have no other details about him. Steve is frequently seen around the UK tracks as mentor / mechanic to Segei Darkin and Roman Povaznhy amongst others. Can't be certain, but I think he comes from London ( I appreciate that's a generalisation).
