Blazeaway
Ah yes..now I remember. Certainly sounds like it is due to return to the UK then. Fingers crossed it does because that will be the best chance our lads have. They have to qualify first mate.

tigerblues
Just a fresh thought on this debate. Has the GP Challange ever been in the UK? And if not...why not? Shouldn't the BSPA be doing our guys a favour and bringing this meeting over here on home turf? It's not as if it's the sort of meeting that would struggle to attract a crowd either... Next year it's pencilled in for apparently. I reckon it'll be at Coventry or Poole myself, Sky should televise it though IMO.

UnitedUnitedUnited
hopefully at peterborough, if you put in some temp stands on backstraight and 3/4th bend, would be an awesome set up either there or monmore really.
ballinger
Although of course the Spar has not always been reliable with respect to where FIM events will be held. FIM calendar has it set for the UK on 20 Sept 2009 My bet would be that it'll be at Rye House

fatface
*thoughts of David Howe getting through to the GP's courtesy of the GP Challenge being held at Wolves* Hmmm...yes that is a frightening thought! I doubt it would get that far though.. I'm thinking more so that Lee Richardson, Tai Woffinden and - if it comes to it - Chris Harris would have a much better shot on a UK track. Unlikely that the BSPA-SCB would allow Richardson to enter if he carries out his threat to dump the Elite League and Harris would, of course, have to enter to stand any chance. Would he lower himself to such a mundane thing?

I'm sure if he took out a Bulgarian licence they'd give him a place in the qualifiers :s
