Gordon Byers Book

Gordon Byers at 96 is the oldest surviving rider. He started riding at Middlesbrough in 1928 and when Newcastle openend in 1929 he rode there before moving from his native north east to Leeds and then on to greater things at Wembley. He was a member of the England side which toured NZ and Australia in the early 30's.
