Blazeaway
None at all, just sick of you slagging everything British in Speedway. Youre a tosser simple as!! Actually he's not. Top result for Nicki World Champion 2008 superb.
spin king
He was outstanding in his first couple of rides, just as he was at Daugavpils. And he did very well to make mugs of Andersen and Adams in the semi-final. But the fact remains that he barely made the semis after appearing home and dry after his first couple of rides. S2H, that will be the closest you will get to him agreeing with you.
Gemini
I believe Scott has changed a number of things, due to Kelvin's advice, some of which he didn't like much, but they are now showing good signs. I noticed tonight, he didn't do his normal locking up on bends. I wonder if Kelvin could have a word with Simon Stead now. I hope he does get into the Top 8 for next years Grand Prix, but if he doesn't it wont be for the want of trying. Well Done Lad, we British Supporters were proud of you tonight and keep up the good work!! Hear, hear. (With grateful thanks to my spell checker.) Well done Scott tonight. I think Tomasz could have been a World Champion and still could, but I sometimes feel his problem is that if he doesn't like the track he doesn't bother. If he put the same amount of effort into all of the other GPs as he does Bydgoszcz, he would be world Champion. Agree again. Loads of times Tomasz just gives up and toddles round at the back if the track doesn't suit him. I'd much rather support someone like Scott who gives 100% all the time for 4 laps. Subedei
Sub Grand Prix wins mean nothing mate......Its who is World Champion that matters....you know that....you are not stupid....well not completely jb So, why is your beloved hero the global superstar always saying how "desperate" he is to win one if they mean nothing? I didn't think you were stupid, but coming out with such crass comments as that I'm not so sure now. Of course Grands Prix wins mean something. Hackett
A 'Monster' night for hancock. Generally thought the grand prix was dull apart from gollobs exploits. He was excellent value and he and pedersen ruined there chances in final by taking care of each other. Imo the dane has the title won. . . He is just too consistent at the moment. Consistently better than everyone else. Nicholls did extremely well to make the final and it looked like he had blown his chance after his great start but used his head in semi final and rode a sensible race to get into the final. Now for the challenge tomorrow.

Sub, I think what jb is trying to say is, that in 30 years time, people will only remember who was World Champion. There will be a few that stand out like Martin Dugards win, Chris Harris's win and indeed Tomasz around Bydgoszcz, but other than that, time makes people forget who won individual Grand Prix. Of course, every rider wants to be World Champion, they wouldn't be in it otherwise would they? Humphrey Appleby
the Monster 'M' going to be one of the most iconic symbols worldwide, just like McDonalds, Marlboro, Ford etc etc. Well in that case, I definitely won't be drinking the stuff. Guest Ashie Smashy
You slag British Speedway off, fact! How very last year to use the word, fact! to emphasise your point. It is a not a fact, you are simply stating YOUR opinion.

Midnight_Lady
The fan is necessary. He's just so damned hot. Surely you mean sweaty Congratulations to Greg Hancock. Generally thought the grand prix was dull apart from gollobs exploits. He was excellent value and he and pedersen ruined there chances in final by taking care of each other. I have to agree with that. I also thought Gollob would take gate four in the final to keep away from Pedersen as there was no way Pedersen would have gone for gate three then he wouldn't have been caught on the inside. heathen76
Great performance by Greg in the final, taking full advantage of Gollob & Nicki seeking to take care of each other,& despite the slick track an above average GP IMO, Cant help but feel for Gollob a little, but hey.we"ve seen it many times before. Did anyone else notice Greg taking a swig of something most definetely NOT monster after ( i think) ht 19? ! (looked suspiciously like a bottle of water-is evian next? ). As per usual-Scotty proved he can be up there with the best one minute, and crap the next no doubting the guys ability on a bike, but did he change setup when he shouldnt have,or (more likely) vice versa?-he may never be a world champ,or realistically much above no 8 in the world, but hes the best we"ve got, gives 100% & worthy of our support surely?, Sub-you are even gaining notoriety for being a brit(& particularly scott nicholls) "basher" on current midlands speedway forums-avoid at all costs this guy is on a mission type comments etc(tho i should add this isnt the case on the Cradley forum,as we are sort of stuck in "neutral" for obvious reasons!). A victory for Greg is generally well received by many, particularly back here in the black country. Residents in Netherton & Rowley Regis could apparently hear the cheers all the way from Cradley Heath! More wonderful consistency from Nicki-despite his past iindiscretions looking a worthy successor to the likes of Gundersen,Nielsen,& Janno Pedersen(who would surely have won more world titles given better luck with injuries etc). Suprised by AJs non improvement this year, flabbergasted at Bjarne Ps inept performances, considering his general form, given his current shoulder probs i also thought PUK gave it his all tonight for little reward. How often over the years has Greg dominated the qualifiers, only to lose out in the final, due to being Mr Nice Guy? Great to see him turn that statistic on its head-MONSTER!! T.N.T.
Really pleased Greg took another GP title and put himself very much in the running for a top three finish but the star of the show was of course Tomasz Gollob who seems to be able to do magic on that track. It was no means upto the usual standard of Bid-Gosh GP's gone by, but its good to see a meeting on a real track that lasts the full meeting. So now its a race for the positions behind Nicki with Crumpy, Greg and Tomasz while the battle for a top 8 finish could go down to Germany with Holta, Scotty, Freddie, Bomber and Neils all after that 8th spot. Looking at the GP Challenge line up later today, I hope Neils can get through that as he is better than most in that line up. Bjarne just isn't doing it in the GP's, KK has improved a bit in the last few and Lukas is getting the odd point so hopefully Neils and 2 others qualify from today. SCB
I wonder if Kelvin could have a word with Simon Stead now. To be fair, Simons up turn in form for the month prior to his injury saw him locking up very rarely. Maybe someone has got all the Brits in a room and told them, they'll shot the next one of them to lock up. It's a British disease to lock up. That said, if you're going to do it, do it the Jagus way, we need him back in the GP's because he's so bloody great. Jagus finds lines nobody else can I didnt realise until last night how much I miss him. Did anyone else notice Greg taking a swig of something most definetely NOT monster after ( i think) ht 19? ! How often over the years has Greg dominated the qualifiers, only to lose out in the final, due to being Mr Nice Guy? A few things worth commenting on in this post. Firstly, that Monster stuff is so sweet and sickly (so actually suits Greg to a tee) that it need to be watered down Scott, ARGH!!! I missed his first ride, second ride was top draw, did what he had to and did it well. 3rd ride I felt for him a bit, you're not going to do much against that pair if you don't outgate them but Scott did the sensible for half a lap then tried and all or nothing but still got something back from it. He did jack in his 4th and 5th rides WTF?! So bloody annoying. That 1st/2nd bend in the semi though, SUPERB. I said to Silver Bee he has to go for second, Gollob will win it, leave him and ride his own race and thats how things turned out with Scott letting Gollob go (he was not really ever going to stop him any way), then in the final he made a start a CL junior would be embarrassed by, claiming gate 3 is crap by then is rubbish to as in both semis gate 3 was just fine, a little more luck on the 2nd bend and he may have been the one challenging Greg. Regarding Greg dominating and then failing, we mentioned that last night too. I wonder what Greg prefers, all the points from a dominant meeting but messing up the final or winning a GP? I bet Nicki would take 2nd in a GP if he could win every other race. World Champion 2009 = Nicki Pedersen. Can he even throw this away? I just cant see it. Jagus finds lines nobody else can I didnt realise until last night how much I miss him. I don't think Jagus wants to be in the Grands Prix - he's a practical chap and not really interested in paying to ride in the circus. Scott, ARGH!!! I missed his first ride, second ride was top draw, did what he had to and did it well. 3rd ride I felt for him a bit, you're not going to do much against that pair if you don't outgate them but Scott did the sensible for half a lap then tried and all or nothing but still got something back from it. Oh dear, you're not going to be popular writing things like that, young fellow. You should be waxing lyrical about how the global superstar started with 6 points and managed just 4 points more from a further 5 rides. Don't you know it was a monumental achievement? colincooke
Bydgoszcz was at 1 time the GP everybody includingthe riders looked forward to, but thanks to the ubergolem Olsen it is not as good as it once was. That said, fairly enjoyable & agree that Gollob blew it,very didsrespectful of him to interveiw in Polish& what was said i take it was partly a swipe at nicki given the crowd reaction to him. Good on Nicki for biting back. Great to see a Brit in the final & Scott is close to nailing #8. Would definitely have been there if KK & Jagus hadn't allowed Holta by in their race. I'll be at Lonigo & i can't wait now.

How was it disrespectful? In Poland they interview foreign riders (and - interestingly enough - Rune Holta) in English and translate the answers for their Polish viewers. salty
Why on earth should Gollob attempt to speak in English when the interview is being broadcast to a Polish crowd? Maybe the Gp organisers should pay for a proper interpreter instead of foisting English upon everyone. Gollob was pure class tonight, but blew it with his gate choice in the final. Great cut back by Hancock in the Final, after all the garbage talked about the GP needing new blood it was good to see the veteran show them how it's done. As for the sponsors drink, come on its just become a joke, how can anyone get annoyed by it?
