It's great to see Daniel in Demand :D Hope Piraterna can sign a few more, maybe Kenneth Bjerre will come back ?

Bjerre riding for Piraterna again? a very funny joke ;) Bjerre is very disliked by Piraternas fans and i dont think Masarnas fans like him either.

Valsarna says there is an agreement with Vetlanda for partnership next year, but no written paper exists yet.

Solkatternas strong man Anders Berglund has quit his involvement in Solkatterna.

Anders has working hard for Solkatterna seven years and the final nail in the coffin for him is? That both Jeremia Thelaus and Daniel Nermark has left Solkatterna for Valsarna and Piraterna.

Jeremia has raced speedway for three years and this season has been a good one for the Molkom youngster.

It was meant to be that Solkatterna and Indianerna should have a partnership for next year but according to Anders so is it off.

That's two gigantic losses for Solkatterna, and I must admit I feel sorry for Anders (Berglund) as he has done a lot for Solkatterna, only to lose two good home-grown riders.

Oh, what a talent that boy is! An incredible all-action rider with a fantastic style, and only while in his third year in the sport. Always a treat to watch hime ride!

It looks like Solkatterna will have to pull out of next seasons Allsvenskan and instead make a restart in Division 1 because of that their two best riders have left for other teams for the next season and that Solkatterna currently doesnt have any contracted riders at all which will make it very difficult for them to get enough riders to make a full team capable of riding in Allsvenskan.

the article can be read here

this means that allsvenskan will probably only have 4 teams and if Dackarna do start their own Division 1 team and Solkatterna moves down, Division1 will have twelve teams.

Which will surely mean that there would be no Allsvenskan at all?

One of the few rumours I've heard is that Allsvenskan has to have eight teams next season or Svemo will integrate it with the 1st division...

Valsarna says there is an agreement with Vetlanda for partnership next year, but no written paper exists yet.

Now it's official. Elit Vetlanda and Valsarna will be partners again for next season...

...and Rafal Okoniewski has extended his contract with Piraterna, according to local newspaper Östgöta Correspondenten.

Anders / Ghostwalker,

Do you think Jason Crump will return to Norrkoping, to spearhead his old club Vargarna's return to the Elit League, now that he has quit British Speedway ?

He will stay with Elit Vetlanda. No contracts are signed yet but Jason has told Vetlanda that he will stay with them.

Karlsson and Bergström sign for Solkatterna

The Scunthorpe Scorpions’ two Swedish riders, Magnus Karlsson and Viktor Bergström, have signed for Swedish Allsvenskan side Solkatterna for 2009. Bergström rode for the Karlstad based side in 2008 whilst Karlsson has switched from the Valsarna club. The signings will have no effect on whether the pair re-sign for the Scorpions in 2009 as the pair have already shown this season that they can commute between the two countries without any problems.
