Mimmo
Hope to see you there. MM!! I'll be there, as these youngsters need everyone's support. It won't do them much good riding in front of empty terraces.
PhilK
Really looking forward to this meeting, hopefully the weather will be kind. Well done to Kings Lynn for putting this meeting on and giving the youngsters a chance to ride in a proper 15 heat meeting rather than the often rushed few laps after the main meeting at certain tracks. The chance to see 14 promising young British riders of the future will hopefully bring a decent crowd to the Norfolk Arena! Hopefully with this and the recent 3TT Junior meeting at Ipswich we are seeing clubs at last give our youngsters decent track time and hopefully more of these type of meetings will take place in 2009. I feel they are better than the 6 heat Academy meetings which often get hit by curfews etc and when they are run its often in front of emptying stadiums. Maybe the Chapmans would consider running a similar style meeting at Mildenhall once our season completes on 28th September Edited September 11, 2008 by PhilK

Neil - Parsloes - PhilK - Mimmo - Swift Saint. Well it looks like the meeting is guaranteed five people watching, as we're the only ones that have made any posts on the meeting. Come on King's Lynn fans, with no Stars home meeting next week, and an admission price of just £8, surely you're coming along. Let's hear your thoughts on the planned meeting, and whether you'll be there or not....."LETS BE 'AVING YOU". Mike

Good on ya Bagpuss, any more locals coming? So far it stands at three from Norfolk (Belton, Fakenham & Heacham), and one apiece from Cambridgeshire, Essex & Suffolk. Anyone coming from King's Lynn? Looking forward to the youngsters putting on a good show. I hope the fans come out in force for this meeting, and generous thanks should go to Buster & Jonathan for setting the admission at such a bargain rate. I wouldn't miss it for the world and am bringing along a few 'new-to-speedway' guests as part of our sponsorship.

Good on yer Neil, and yes of course a huge thanks to the Chapmans for putting this event on. The same can be said for the Louis Family at Ipswich who performed a similar exercise a week or two back, plus of course clubs like Scunthorpe and Sittingbourne in particular, who work so hard to try and bring young riders through. Cya Wednesday and hope that my deafness has disappeared by then, so that I can listen to you guys as well as talk to you. Mike

Mimmo
I should be there, however I start a new job on Monday and wont know what shift im on until I get told at my induction. Start how you mean to finish Danzell and lay down the law with them. Explain that if they want the priviledge of your employment, then you must be allowed to be available for all speedway meetings at the Norfolk Arena.....and hey, talk them into coming along too:wink: Good luck with the job. PhilK
Thought I'd bring this back to the top. Weather looks set fair, and there's only bl**dy Champions League tosh on the box. Hopefully the crowd will be better than Monday night, to see 14 of the countries most promising youngsters in a full 15 heat match Edited September 16, 2008 by PhilK
