Spannerboy
HELP!!! A couple of my good mates (?) are in need of some help in finding some where to stay over the Grand Prix weekend. Can anyone help with some ideas as 2 nights sleeping rough as i suggested didnt go down that well! By the way these are classy people, so any down town slum will do. starsupportersam
You will be lucky to find anywhere near the city now. Weve got a motel in biele blota, the web address is http://www.zlotakarczma.pl/zlota_karczma/index_en.html still, not too sure if there are any vacancies left. If not, they will be staying at least 10 miles away from the city.

pugwash
On no account stay at THIS place, unless you're into the devil bigtime, that is. The dancing / devil worshipping hall is right under the bedrooms and it's very weird, very loud and goes on till about 6am. We stayed there last year, I expected them to cart off Mrs P for a human sacrifice. According to Mateusz, Unia Tarnow had their end of season p**s up there a couple of years ago and totalled the place. Nikkif
Stick them in a hostel http://www.bydgoszcz.eu/turystyka/noclegi/ Rico This hostel looks far cleaner and nicer than some I have stayed in. Only problem I spotted is "Silence must be kept at the hostel from 23,00 to 6.00" Not sure if this means there is a curfew. Also, if your a YHA member you get 10% off. The Brda is basic but it serves a purpose but last time we checked it was full. The barman is lovely guy who works very hard whilst we are there - well into the wee small hours and never shows signs of closing up. really looking forward to getting back there. Hazzman
Always try the Chemik. http://www.metalko.com.pl/angielska/oferta/oferta.shtml Typical that the hotel's website includes details of the massive chemical plant nearby. I swear the plant is a FBI base. It's about 4 miles out of town though and through the equilvent of Harlem. But it's what we used thanks to an extreme mess up by Hotel Sporting.
