johnno4
As a big Robins fan I always support Leigh in the GP's but I also support our own Brits. You only have to look at the Union and St George flags at Cardiff to see that there are a lot of similar people . Scotty and Bomber may not be the best but they are the best we have. Drop them and the Cardiff GP will suffer as will other GP's viewing figures. Noddy will get his chance perhaps next year as there is a feeling that Leigh may retire from the GP's at the end of the season and for good at the end of 2009. Steve Shovlar
Dave Watt ? Adam Shields ? Charlie Gjedde ? All the above have very similar averages to Holder. Whilst I agree that Chris has done exceptionally well in the EL, I think he, as would the three above, be well out of his depth in the GP's in a similar role as Kasprzak. Lets not forget that the EL is VERY watered down compared to other seasons. Whilst Holder may have a similar average to the three above, I think its very obvious he has the potential to go a lot further in the sport than any of the above, who are now riding at their best ( injuries beside) Holder is far from the finished article and is destined for the top of the sport. easy to see as it was with both Crump and Adams in the early stages of their careers. I doubt Holder would struggle as you make out like KK or Bjarne or Iversen. In fact I woould feel sure he would qualify top 8 for the following year without too much trouble at all. No doubting that Holder has the ability to go a long way in the sport, however, it would be wise not to underestimate the level of finance required to compete at the top level. Whether Holder has the team in place to make a season long mark as early as next year is the doubt I would have.
Wackie
And nobody would deny that Michael Lee deserved the crown that night, what a rider he was! I did, I wanted Jan Andersson to win.

Trees
Jan bloomin Andersson, Mr # Name Removed # himself, he was my husband's favourite rider at the time, couldn't stand his style lol Cardiff 30k+ fans attend as the meetings are no longer special No just one among many really. Most fans don't go for the GP they go for the social interaction of it all anyways, would be interesting to see how many attended if the Millennium Stadium wasn't in the middle of Cardiff haha
Subedei
Jan bloomin Andersson, Mr # Name Removed # himself, he was my husband's favourite rider at the time, couldn't stand his style lol He'd have done okay in the GPs - he was, after all, the "king of the concrete". Trees
That's the truth Sube, white lining it every inch of the way haha, Jan sure knew the shortest way round every track ................... Makes me laugh though that they let Olsen do what he does to the tracks especially Bydgoszcz, you'd think they'd want the GPs to be classic meetings! Him and Nicki joint top scorer a weeks. When it is is everywhere the rider is riding well he must be considered but I do agree with the Kasprzak bit. Give him a year or 2. Never really followed the hype about Adams. Yes he score loads of points in england and prob everywhere else. But he is not amazing. Tomosz Gollob, best rider not to have bin world champ.
