Cornishfisherman
A 3TT Academy match will be held at Ipswich Thursday Aug 14th to include teams from Ipswich, Poole and Rye House. Details are a bit sketchy but rumour has it that the hottest property to come out of Australia for some time, Darcy Ward, will be riding. Amission prices have been greatly reduced and will include a race card.

Steve Shovlar
Why are Ipswich oputting on this meeting when they still are yet to give Poole a date for the ELB fixture? Why couldn't they have entertained Poole instead of this meeting?

Why couldn't they have entertained Poole instead of this meeting? Ipswich have given Poole six dates ,this being one of them but they could not see their way to accomodate any of them. Catalan
Disappointed that Kyle Newman isn't allowed to ride in this meeting. Although he is 16 as per the rules of the meeting he was 16 seventeen days to early. As usual British speedway prepared to shoot themselves in the foot over some petty things. Kyle is a great prospect and this is first full year in speedway all I can say is welcome to the minefield of the BSPA.

When they don't stick to the rules people take them to court when they do they get told they are jobsworths . Welcome to the world of a speedway fan . Welcome to the world of a speedway fan . what rules, we were informed that it was a 16 and under meeting, kyle is 16, he is not 17 until december, even though the rye house management tried to claim he was 17, andnd they wanted to sign him when he turned 16 last december. allthe kid wants to do is race and gain experience, he has never been to ipswich was looking forward to it and because of politics was told he was too old for a junior challenge. bradmeister
Talking about the meeting, how quick did Darcy Ward look to anyone who went? Seems to be racking up the points for boston, wondered how he'd fair on a totally new track. . . by winning all his races
