Conkers
f-s-p Posted Today, 10:12 AM Is the whole EC lot now cancelled or what? isracing.net doesn't even give it a mention at all... Speedway.org have the EC semi in Lukovitsy on 31/1 - 1/2, and the EC Final on 22/3 at a venue tba. Judging by the weather here in North West the last few days, I bet we really could stage an Ice meeting in Buxton! Maybe Richard could apply and stage the EC final. After all, Roger tested his bike there a couple of seasons back and it's so cold there in June we could stage it then!

MARK246
And is it true England will have a team in the Team Championships in Inzell? Having spoken to the ACU about the result of the training camp and the allocation of the British places, we don't have a team in Inzell. The reason that the ACU don't get a team place is because they don't ask for one, due mainly to the lack of riders. All went well at training and the others are back in the UK. Must get back to making tyres now.

Yes,was just a mistake by speedway.org putting a GB flag there.Had me all excited for a little bit I thought Mrs MARK246 would be busy doing the tyres, while you put your feet up
MARK246
I thought Mrs MARK246 would be busy doing the tyres, while you put your feet up I realised during training, if you want a job done properly you have to do it yourself

f-s-p
Finnish nominations. Surprised to see that Kontoniemi and Lehtinen have different qualifiers, but I gues they've talked it all through with the authorities. Lehtinen is the man behind Kontoniemi's interest in the sport and more or less of a mentor to him. Saalfelden: Antti Aakko ja Jussi Hytönen Togliat: Joni Kontoniemi, Janne Vilponen ja Tommy Flyktman Sanok: Kai Lehtinen ja Jouni Seppänen EC Lukovitshy semi: Henri Malinen EC final, tba: Antti Aakko EC juniors Saransk: Henri Malinen

full-throttle
What's the Eurorider trip to Assen like? Can anyone recommend it? All the best Rob you'll be well and truly looked after by Ron and his team. nice hotel, with a very good breakfast. go on Rob, you know you want too
Conkers
Rob, I'm afraid I'm biased as Ron is a mate and we've known each other for over 35 years, but he does run a good trip and I rarely hear any complaints about them. The hotel in Groningen is a good one and his coach is very modern. I do know loads of people who travel with Eurorider who won't travel with anyone else. lucifer sam
Full Throttle & Conkers, Thanks, I think I'll go-ahead and book myself and the old man on the Eurorider trip. I normally travel with Travel Plus for the GPs, but we've been to Assen plenty of times before, so a quick in-and-out for this trip will suit us and allow me to save up the pennies to go to Sweden with Travel Plus later in the year. All the best Rob
