Conkers
Any news on Stefan Svensson and Harald Simon and their injuries? Svensson only suffered bruising and will be riding this weekend. Simon was walking around the pits on Sunday, and I beleive he withdrew on Medical advice after his arm injury was aggravated. I expect him to ride weekend too. My photos should be up later today.

Conkers
Draw for the final rounds at Assen: 1 Franz Zorn 2 Harald Simon 3 Antonin Klatovsky 4 Nikolai Krasnikov 5 Vitali Khomitsevich 6 Antti Aakko 7 Junir Baseev 8 Kai Lehtinen 9 Tommy Flyktman 10 Dmitri Khomitsevich 11 Stefan Svensson 12 Ivan Ivanov 13 Pavel Tschajka 14 Johnny Tuinstra 15 Gunther Bauer 16 Danil Ivanov R17 Markus Skabraut R18 Per-Anders Lindstrom Skabraut will make his last ever appearances on Sunday, as he retires from racing at the end of the season. Krasnikov only needs to qualify for the B Final on Saturday to be World Champion. He only needs 9 championship points as Danil can only score a maximum of 158, and Franky can only get 149. Also saw that Andrei Gavrilkin isn't riding on the the Friday, and Martin Posch is. Pity really as I hear Gavrilkin is pretty good to watch. f-s-p
Looking at pics by iris123 and Conkers from this season (probably before too) I noticed that Krasnikov has a different front fork to almost all the other riders like Aakko, Zorn Klato for example. Anyone with a view or an opinion whats it all about?

DutchGrasstrack
Been to the Roelof Thijs Bokaal practice yesterday... it all looks good . Only been there for 20 mins, but great to see some ice racing again. The Russians were looking very good. Made a couple of photos... Bit pitty that the organisation didn't gave me the permission to make pics on the inside, or even giving me acces to the paddock . Oh well. Ian; please send me a pm with your mobile phone number, we have to meet up this time lol, I'm going tonight and Sunday .
iris123
Seems from what Jacky has sent to speedway-forum.de,Ivan Ivanov has not been allowed to start because of his injuries. It was obvious last week in Berlin he couldn't race.Stefan Svensson has also dropped out.So Skabraut und Lindström start and Sven Holstein and Swedish rider Olsson are reserves
bluejam
1st time in Assen.A very enjoyable nights racing indeed.Stansilav Arhipov a very worthy winner indeed of the Roelof Thijs Bokaal.Very surprised his guy didn't make it in to the top 16 in qualifying.Maybe Conkers or Iris 123 can tell me why he didn't make it?
