janey2
I'll tell if you tell we havent booked anything yet not even a flight, at the moment looks like we may fly to weeze and hire a car, but we both like to have a pre match drink so ideally would like to stay near the stadium. But if theres not much happening near the stadium maybe we would be better in Essen or dusseldorf.

flagrag
We are trying to get a hotel in Gelsenkirchen but everywhere seems full at the the minute so it may have to be Dusseldorf for us as well. Its good to know that we can get a train back fairly easily if need be

Jacqueline
Hello together, Â also Bochum is near Gelsenkirchen and from the centre of Bochum there is a direct tram-line going to Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, approximate 15-20 minutes driving time vom the city centre of Bochum to Veltins-Arena. Â If someone need some proposal for any hotels please let me know. sjw ministerofport
Last year stayed at Essen at one of the IHG hotels, we found Essen fine. Went to the Court Yard after the meeting cus friends were stopping there, the place was rammed and we had a good time, the only problem was having to have a taxi back to Essen, cost about £20. Â You only stayed 1 night You should have come with us, it was very lively on the Friday night with plenty of football fans hanging around outside the train station, and then talking the taxi driver into taking us to our hotel which was about 10 minutes walk away! lol

Hopefully they can produce a half decent track this year.
