BOBBATH
I think I must be getting too old for the forum-questions about the 70's and 80's are cropping up(after my time in UK)-so here is one from the sixties-what has happened to Geoff-his name has cropped up tangentially(good word) on other threads here- e.g. most teams ridden for; Newport speedway etc.I recall Geoff getting his first max around 64 or 65 for Newport-he partnered Dick Bradley till Dick's career ending injury, then not sure for the rest of 65 but certainly in 66 he partnered Gote Nordin-then went to Poole in 67 or 68 I think.Geoff was a cockney I think-had an armchair style of riding-hope he is still in good health . BigFatDave
Last I heard he was living just round the corner from Vic White. Maybe an enquiry to the Veterans' site - http://www.vsra-web.co.uk/ - might help?
