Boggle
Does anybody happen to know the elitserien semi final playoff dates? I think the speedway star said it was Tuesday 23rd Sept and Weds 24th Sept, with the final being on the 30th Sept and 1st Oct is anybody able to confirm this is correct? - some tempting flight prices at the moment! Many thanks

Many thanks Been looking into the possibility of getting to a Swedish League meeting. What decent prices have ya seen & flying from where?? Most Swedish tracks seem to be in the middle of nowhere so could be a tricky trip to organise!!
Ghostwalker
Bradford Ace, Smederna, Rospiggarna and Hammarby are all three pretty easy to get to. I'm unsure about the others. Edited July 24, 2008 by Ghostwalker
Boggle
Been looking into the possibility of getting to a Swedish League meeting. What decent prices have ya seen & flying from where?? Ryanair Stansted to Nykoping out on the Tuesday back on the Thurs is currently £19 all in then its a hire car job, most of the teams likely to be in the playoffs are within a 2.5 to 3 hr radius of there

Ghostwalker
Is it top 2 through to the semi-finals and 3-6 to fight it out in the 1/4 finals ?? If I remember it correctly its 3 quarter finals this year. The winners + one lucky looser (the qf looser that looses with fewest points) goes to semi-finals. Anders
Thanx for that !! Strange format and seems that there is no reward for finishing top 2 !! Stupid format IMO as a Team A can be relegated by Team B in the quarterfinals but still meet (and possibly beat) Team B in the semifinals. Once you're out, you should stay out! Getting angry every time I think about it. If I'm not mistaken the 1st placed team gets a cash reward for winning the regular season standing. Also, the highest placed team in each Play Off round can choose if they want to begin home or away in the respective round.
