Subedei
Sorry if I've missed this in another thread but they mentioned tonight the race off and final would be at Leszno next year - I thought It had been confirmed as Coventry..... Don't believe everything Peter Oakes writes in the Speedway Star. BSI signed a contract with Unia Leszno in 2006 for the following events: 2007: SWC Race-off and Final 2008: SGP round and SWC round 2009: SGP round and SWC Race-off and Final The full details can be found at the following: http://www.crash.net/news_view~cid~19~id~137758.htm I read the Speedway Star, I wrote to the Speedway Star, they e-mailed me back saying it "looked like" I was right, but Peter Oakes continued writing that Coventry would hold the Race-off and Final in 2009. I wrote to Unia Leszno and they replied that there was "no doubt" the Race-off and Final would be hosted on their track. iceandspeedway
well i read same thing but if thats the case coventry havnt got the final, maybe a good thing for Britian as we have a lot of catching up to do if we are to even qualify for the latter stages. tIME FOR BRITISH SPEEDWAY TO TAKE A LONG HARD LOOK AT ITSELF.. route of the problem , Elite league i coounted in the Speedway Star just 18 British riders in the Elite league who where british and this included the number 8,s too. Time for some International seriess england v australia,at both top leval and u21,poland here and abroad, sweden, denmark. also bring back 2nd halves to at least encourage some youngsters to have a stab against the big boys, more accademy teams in the elite league. Thanks Sub So next year 3 out of the 4 meetings will be at Leszno - might as well move the 4th one there as well.... All of this building up to the final in 2009 then from Team GB looks like it might have been a bit off the mark :-)
