GregM
Hi folks I am going to Australia in November with the missus for 6 months, initially based in Sydney. I was wondering if anyone on the forum could give me information on the Australian National Championship. I noticed from an article in the Speedway Star that there would be no meeting in Sydney. Is this true? Could anyone give me a website address, dates, also how far is Mildura & Newcastle from Sydney? Thanks in advance Greg

Anyhow, Newcastle's not far from Sydderney, train ride's very pretty, then fly to Milly via Melbourne is the easiest way - http://iwantthatflight.com.au/ - that's for cheapo flights - and Gilly is just down the road - by Oz standards that is!! Oh, and watch out for any Australian BSF members - totally untrustworthy bunch of Pi$$heads!! You want Taxi from Airport?? I take you Scenic Route!! You'll probably need Drinking Lessons as well; I'm sure I can help here, just practise saying "Would yerz like a Crownie, Dave" until ya get it right!! I suppose this means another deck chair for Gilly must be about 24 now!
Guest Sir Lunchalot
Depending on how big Dave`s harem is I may be able to squeeze you in for a lift from Mildura to Gillman. Dave is a chick magnet and his pulling power is legendary so you are in the lap of the gods. Last year there was ... now let me see ... about three spare seats in the back of my car so you are a rough chance. It`s your shout at the pub at Waikerie for lunch by the way.
