Mad Mitch
Very surprised that Jason Doyle isn't named in the Aussie team. Jason is too old, Dob 6 Oct 1985.

Danish Webmaster
Me and the wife will be there. Do you know what race format is being used? last year at abensberg it was 4 man teams plus reserve with 16 programmed heats then 4 more for highest-lowest scorers. It seems what you've listed are 5 man teams, so can we asume a 25 heat format like in the senior world team cup? Same format as SWC - 5 riders - 5 héat each - a total of 25 heats. I will make a race card - but it will not be on my site befor the 21st - I have to make sure, that we can sell some program in Stadium. The race will be broadcarsted live by the danisk dk4. Jenn
Some very decent looking teams there - Denmark do stand out though. As do the Aussie's - fielding 2 EL heatleaders! Will be interested to see how Paddy the Dane(Captain!!! - Check him out!!) and Billy Forsberg get on. Could be a meeting for a couple of EL team managers to get to - COuld discover the next big talent?!

Alun
Anybody know why Hansen has been replaced by 2 younger inexperienced riders? He has scored much better than them in the DSL matches. Although admitedly his DU21 result wasnt very good! Any reasons given?

Not sure replaced is quite the right word I mean he wasn't picked. But it was a surprise that Renè is in the team as i thought he wasn't announced in the original squad, which surprised me as he is one of my tips for the top.Great rider with a great style and very, very unlucky not to have been YGT Champ.I hope they all show what they can do.It will be tough against the Aussies.Morten will really have to be at his best for this one.And both Nicolai and Patrick could go through undefeated, but of course Batchelor and Holder could do the same. Bring it on!!!! Fingers crossed i don't have any bike trouble tomorrow Edited September 20, 2008 by iris123
