srbramble
I'm wondering what the possibility was, of running a WTC for the under 21s. Probably a bit selfish, seeing as it seems to be only us, suffering in the senior event. There must be enough young riders, for each country to make up a team of 5, and it would give them experience, for when they progress into the senior squad. If we need to make some room in the season,we could get rid of some of the meaningless competitions, such as the Craven shield and the Premier league trophy. schumi
There already is one. We didn't get very far in that either.
srbramble
There already is one. We didn't get very far in that either. Can't be publicised well, if I, and a pal who has been an avid speedway fan of 30 years, were discussing the need for one only this morning. My apologies for my ignorance tho. T.N.T.
Give it a year or two and I can't see England not winning the U-21 WTC with Woffinden, Bridger, Haines, Roynon etc etc.

The poles would win it with their 4th team if it was there, if it was at somewhere like wolverhampton, then we'd stand a chance.

Do you know what race format is being used? last year at abensberg it was 4 man teams plus reserve with 16 programmed heats then 4 more for highest-lowest scorers. It seems what you've listed are 5 man teams, so can we asume a 25 heat format like in the senior world team cup?
Subedei
Looks like nothing but bad news for the Swedes. Jonasson probably out for the season after crashing in his homeland tonight. And Ricky Kling withdrawing after a tumble in his first ride at Ipswich tonight. And not much better for the Poles, with both Gomolski and Pawlicki likely to be sidelined with injury for this meeting.

Subedei
Very surprised that Jason Doyle isn't named in the Aussie team. I don't think he's a junior anymore. Edit: He's not eligible. Born in October 1985, which would make him 22. Edited September 12, 2008 by Subedei
