hatcham
If that is to qualify I am going to risk £500 on TeamGB. Providing I can get the bet on somewhere. maths obviously not your strong point mr shovlar !!
Adder
If I thought that GB had any hope of qualifying I would get behind them but despite the Jingoistic nature of this thread we have absolutely no chance whatsoever. I shall therefore be cheering on the Swedes who are carrying my £40 at 15/8 which I invested with SkyBet yesterday. 16/1 for GB to win the meeting is surely a misprint? There is a zero missing off of the end of that price!
Bagpuss
Well said Mr Shovlar. Time to get behind the team and save any carpeting for after the event.
tocha
I think the very least we can expect is an improved performance From Monday, I still hope we can sneak into the final if the Poles dont turn up. I also expect the boys to attend practice, and then to inspect the track once they return to the stadium as the chances are it will be slicker than it was in the afternoon. I don't know how good the Danish track curators in coping with wet conditions but the forecast for tonight is not looking all that good and, possibly, worse on Saturday. Steve Shovlar
maths obviously not your strong point mr shovlar !! £500 at 16/1 would return me £8,500 if TeamGB qualified. My maths is fine. But the odds are not available anyway.

BritPete
I think this could be a very good meeting. Given the choice, this would hardly be the track that Poland would choose......and Sweden ain't that good.....just very determined. And that's exactly what we need to be tonight. leighrico
Anyone know if any of the riders that are riding tonight have Vojens as there hometrack?
pirate paul
I shall be supporting them without a doubt. Never even considered supporting anyone else in a world cup, or not supporting the Brits. Supporting other nations is a real pet hate of mine. What he said, especially the last bit
schumi
Anyone know if any of the riders that are riding tonight have Vojens as there hometrack? Vojens isn't a league track, so no.

Fingers crossed we get to the final and I can find somewhere to watch it. well 21st - if you can get over towards Smethwick then you can watch it with a wolves fan

leighrico
Vojens isn't a league track, so no. As a few Swindon fans will know I'm always optimistic I'm starting too believe TeamGB can actually qualify tonight! As most know Poland aren't the greatest away from there own tracks and on paper we're just as good as Sweden, we just have to want it more than they do
