Anders
Like Rosco, but don't think he is quite ready for the role tactically... Like Mr Lynch you mean?
Starman2006
Why doesn't everybody just give Jim a chance. He's been thrown in the deepend, but now im sure he will have a good look at things and take stock!. The way forward is to give the kids a chance, but you still need that bit of experience thrown in. I also agree on another thread what Bob Dugard allegedly said,we should run the World Cup every two years, and just run a couple of test meetings to give and bring the kids on!. I said quite a while ago the future of British speedway looked quite rosie, with some of the kids on the upgrade. But these kids now need to prove they can step up to the mark and prove they have what it takes!. Neil did his best with the riders that he had at his Disposal and was unlucky not to win a World Cup, Now its time to give Jim the backing and let him start looking to the future!. We also need to have money put back in to Briitsh speedway, wheres we have regular training and practice facillitys, the Poles and Sweds and Danes can do it, why can't we!!. The Academy League works well, but it mustn't stop there!. Edited July 17, 2008 by Starman2006

rodneyparade
What good is it critcising the manager ? After all it's not him who races. The riders just aren't good enough.
771neil
How about chris louis at least he can talk to riders and understand there problems and may know how to sort them, i know he says he has to much on but he s at all the meeting with sky, he would also use joke better than lynch because he would have known that scott struggled in second ride and that gate 1 was not working that well. Don't disagree about Chris Louis, but as a rider Nicholls should have known about gate 1 and advised Lynch, if he was unaware. The fault cannot be Lynch's alone, the rider, chasing head lines in the press should also take some criticism. Lynch's biggest fault was to have a captain with an ego problem. For his first two meetings under pressure, like he was, with the riders he has at he's disposal IMO he did quite well.
BritPete
Lynch was well aware of gate one being poor....after all, he told us as much just after he nominated, Nicholls for a TR! Just about every British fan must have being wondering why he made such a silly move!
