Woffinden doesn't mind a slick track, which is pretty much common knowledge, so, no hindsight needed, just some simple deduction. From what I saw of Lynch tonight, he come across as a bit wet. Certainly not a motivator. Reminded me of the teacher who gets the p1ss ripped out of him by the schoolkids. Not his fault the team couldn't dial it in tho. The excuses were pathetic, coming from such experienced riders. We are now the laughing stock of europe. The youngsters can't do any worse, so lets give the usual team member a kick up the arse, and completely reshuffle the side.

There's little point in arguing the about this meeting. Stead clearly demonstrated, that in spite of so much early promise, the fact is, he is just not good enough.

Allen should not have even have been there.

Richardson had a poor night, but overall his performances, when he turns out for team G.B. haven't been bad.

We can only get behind them at Vojens, and hope that Kennett and Tai can do better,

Who's slagging off the sport, Neil?

People have simply commented on GB's abject display tonight.

You can't really believe that that was good enough tonight? - although I understand you can't say so on here.

If people within the sport keep finding excuses and spinning the "they did their best" line, the sport and riders in this country will never get any better!

Oh dear, a sure sign of a lost argument when that's all you have to come back with.

And you seem to confuse justified criticism of a shameful performance with "slagging off the sport". I thought tonight's meeting was decent enough. But Britain's performance was shameful in the extreme. Might I remind you that Great Britain produced just a single heat winner tonight.

Hang on, no, you're the man who justified 15 points in last season's final. You'll justify anything.

Well its the first you been on here in a long time and the reason is because lynch has done crap and you want to gloat .

I am bored with the same old team managers and ass kisses getting the gb job and gb doing crap .

The sooner rosco is put in we can go back to winning ways .

I would say that most people go to watch their team win, preferably in the most entertaining manner possible. From what I saw of the meeting tonight neither of these were evident from Team GB.

As for being negative, far from it - I am just facing up to the fact that Team GB aren't good enough. Fact.

(PS Feel free to prove me wrong Team GB - go on, I dare you!)

Some valid points, or a list of excuses...?

No excusses, just valid points. We are now having to go through a process of rebuild,

and its not going to take 5 minutes. Again, if you look beyond the top 3 riders we are

struggling for riders who are proven on the big stage!.

The likes of Eddie Tai and Danny King have the potential, but even they have a way to go

before they become fully fledged Team GB internationals. But you still also need that bit of

experience to give the kids that guiding hand!.

Personally I would say they were excuses, but I'm happy to agree to disagree on that subject.

I would however agree that we are struggling for riders who are proven on the big stage, although on recent form we might struggle for one top rider let alone three!!!

Thats because there is plenty to moan about, especially when people like yourself, bury their heads in the sand, and pretend everything in the garden is rosy, when it is clearly not. Don't forget, these "people" paid your wages for a while, and they are all entitled to an opinion.

This meeting highlighted how far behind the best speedway nations we are. And the fans are worried that without radical changes, it only going to get worse.

Oh Middlo, that's just like your management of Great Britain - inept.

This is no suprise to me but its not the managers fault, you can only play with the hand that you are given.

Middlo would not be able to do any better than this.

absolutely correct.

The riders looked like they couldnt be bothered.

Echoes of last years final when we were woeful AGAIN.

I am not slagging him at all my friend, he looks to be a fantastic prospect but coming 2nd in the British Final and beating some world class riders is completely different.

Christ, Howe came 2nd last year didnt he? Or was he 3rd????

Howe came 2nd last year correct.

I hope we dont qualify for Thursday, can you imagine how bad we would be there? Russia would leave us for dead.

well if we do qualify we should still be behind the boys,

however lets be clear.

we will still be not good enough to grace the final.

Pearson pinning GB hopes on a 17 year old kid. What a plum.

better than sticking with dead certs like richardson and nicholls who will win us nothing.

we need to start clearing the ead wood asap.

Dont you worry about me, i dont have a problem with people slagging me off what i have is a problem with is people who have never been on a bike or managed a team passing judgement on riders doing their best.Speedway is not easy believe me do you honestly think that team GB wanted to have a mare tonight? Hello!!! reality check i dont think so.So back off from the boys unless you can do better we all have off days and whatever happens on Thursday you can bet your house that they will all give 100% whether it is good enough we will see. But do not sit in judgement unless you have been there and can understand the emotion and pressure they are under.

On that note a very goodnight to you all.

MIDDLO

Yes, THE Middlo of course.

Im the real Nicki Pedersen too.
