LynnStars40
Well... there we go haha don't quite know how he 'bottled' it :S Well done Lynn!! Brilliant Effort sooooo close to it paying off   Just one point... why isnt the meeting rode in a neautral track? Think that would make it fair on all teams and before anyone says I'm not saying this because Workington won and Lynn was close saying this as a general question. No offence Lynn Stars , but that question has been done to death . Let's face it , it's only a PL track that would be interested in this type of event - the PLRC was at Swindon last year and the crowd was pretty small . Yes , but in order to get a decent crowd - it makes sense to have the hosting track actually in the competition . Â
Shortcrust
Well done Workington, unlucky Stars and particularly Tomas. Home *cough* advantage *cough*  They did it for Dan Baggy, can't argue with that. Congrats to Worky, commiserations to King's Lynn. Must admit live updates made for good viewing tonight. Never laughed so much in my life.....

At least the home crowd can turn up if nobody else etc.  Wherever it is you'll get the comments. Hold it at Kings Lynn and you've got an unfair advantage to everyone else, same goes for if it was at Sheffield with my team, and it'll happen at Worky.  I suppose really you have to decide where to have it but there should be a group of tracks who have the facilities and the capacity to hold the shared events and rotate them yearly round those tracks. This isn't really the thread for it mind but that's my opinion. Edited July 26, 2008 by tigerblues

Paulco
and in order to get a fair meeting.... ? There's no easy answer LynnStars . Anyway tonight went to a run-off , and Somerset were unlucky with an untimely bike failure - so there wasn't that much home advantage .
