ajh
Had a stab at the lineup for tonight. Can someone let me know if this looks right or not? Group A Somerset Rebels - 1. Jason Doyle; 2. Stephan Katt (replacing Kramer); 3. Jordan Frampton; 4. Brent Werner (replacing Walker) Workington Comets - 1. Charles Wright (replacing Nermark); 2. Kauko Nieminen; 3. Carl Stonehewer (if fit?); 4. Joe Haines Sheffield Tigers - 1. Andre Compton; 2. Ricky Ashworth; 3. Ben Wilson; 4. Joel Parsons Edinburgh Monarchs - 1.Thomas H. Jonasson (replacing Lawson); 2. Andrew Tully; 3. Matthew Wethers; 4. Ryan Fisher Group B King’s Lynn Stars - 1. Kevin Doolan; 2. Tomas Topinka; 3. Shaun Tacey; 4. Rusty Harrison (possibly Lambert?) Newcastle Diamonds - 1. George Stancl; 2. Richard Juul (replacing Franc); 3. Jason King; 4. Christian Henry (depending on fitness?) Scunthorpe Scorpions - 1. Magnus Karlsson; 2. Richard Hall; 3. Carl Wilkinson; 4. Victor Bergstrom Reading Racers - 1. Tomas Suchanek (replacing Ostergaard); 2. Mark Lemon; 3. Tom P Madsen; 4. Chris Mills Is Christian Henry riding? If not I guess his replacement is Sean Stoddart? If Stoney isn't fit then I guess John Branney is next in line because Reima is riding in the Finnish championship? Just seen that Dan could be out for the rest of the season (see BSPA site). Bad blow for him and the Comets, get well soon Dan! tigerblues
Sheffield's team is right ajh.. and for Worky Branney is next in line yes.. not 100% sure on Newcastle but since they only have 6 riders I'm pretty sure it would be Juul and Stoddart! I belive the correct Somerset lineup is Steffan Katt for Kramer and Brent Werner in to replace Simon Walker Thomas Jonasson replaces William Lawson in the Edinburgh lineup As for the Newcastle lineup ?? Everything seems very quiet on that front!!
bellevueace
Why judge us on one away meeting? We've had 3 away wins already this season. Very true Najjer the rebels have done well this season ive always had a soft spot for the club and would like to see them win something this season, pity you wont be at full strength. With the change in forecast for workington ive decided to go up there for the meeting, always a nice run up there, stoke sunday before back to belle vue monday. cometsfan2k4
Just got back from holiday this morning to find that weve most likely lost Nermark for the full season and now it looks like Stoney has an ankle injury that may rule him out tonight. Typical! The meeting has been thrown wide open again, and to be honest, without Nermark it may make it a bit more exciting as I think we were very strong favourites with the original 4 that we had. However if Stoney pulls out leaving us with just Kake and Joe to spearhead our assault, I cant see us taking the title tonight. But good luck to all the lads tonight, no injuries and some good racing.
Matousek
well before id say worky to win, now with daniella out and maybe carl that could blow it for them, others who could do well, are kings lynn, possibly sheffield , even though parsons and wilson have been poor recently, and edinburgh who i think are better off with thj than lawson round worky. As for the injuries and pull outs, some cant be helped, but it does kind of devalue the meeting somewhat.
spin king
My prediction for tonight is Kings Lynn.

gailo
Taken from getnoticedonline.co.uk Stoney to make a late decision on his fitness later today. This meeting is now wide open, but i'm sure Worky will give it there best shot.
carlisle_comet
Kings lynn or Sheffield for me definatly KL if rusty is riding. But i will be suporting the comets 4 whoever they are because they all give 100%
ajh
My prediction for tonight is Kings Lynn. Mine isn't Between Edinburgh and Sheffield for me. Gonna go for the Sheffield with Joel Parsons sealing the title with the cheers (ahem) of the Workington fans in his ears

ylinenhare5-1
For me Sheffield are now favourites. Especially with Andre and Ricky being there on guest duties the other week as well. Wilson is okay around Derwent and Joel P has got the experience to do well. I'm actually quietly confident that the Monarchs could maybe do a bit better now. THJ will love Derwent and will be fast and competitive, The Fish is riding very well, Matty is reliably consistent and I'm sure Andrew Tully will be determined to do well too. So fingers crossed! hardtobeat
When will we know if Rusty is riding, or is a case of, get to the track and find out
gailo
Kings Lynn for me, but like you say, carlisle comet the 4 riders we have will give it 100%.
spin king
I don't think that we are consistent enough to win, I still think that Lynn have the strongest 4, although you cannot rule out Edinburgh.

Hope you're right My tip from the guessed line-ups, would be Reading as an outside bet I think but I'm not convinced by Suchanek so another vote for Edinburgh. With their consistently strong team any of their riders in a team of 4 would not look out of place one bit. Still good luck to the Tigers, really hope they don't mess up and get at least one trophy this year.
