Heres hoping for a rain off. we dont want a rain off after all the hard work going in to this event and all the cash i have spent on a buffet as the family business is also sponsoring the event ... A farce would be if Berwick were put into the event for no reason, or cheated to qualify etc. They didn't - And qualified rightly. If a team in Football qualfies for the Champions League, and then sells all of their decent players and are left with a team worse off, does that make it a farce that they are in the Champions League? No. You`re right in a way but the difference in this case is that Berwick only have 5 riders to choose from.Makovsky,Clews,Smith and Atkin,Magosi if the latter 2 are fit are all we have.Rymel is away riding in Czech Champs while Aarnio is away riding in Finnish Champs.But we deserve our chance to be there even if its not as strong a team as we would like. The track could do with a week of rain to stop it being motorwayish couldn't it. I'm so disappointed to hear that the new laid track is like concrete as I thought Denham would of made it into a perfect speedway track as he had the chance The guy should give Huggy a call who used to do King's Lynn, he'd put him right on what he needs to do to the track!
