Steve Shovlar
Over 45,000 is the estimate of tomorrows crowd in Cardiff. Lets hope it is as every year the crowd seems to have increased. See you all there!
Subedei
Very true, young Nevs. And every year the crowd is always given as being 40,000. Edit: What has happened to Nevs' post? Did I imagine it? Am I finally going barmy? Edited June 27, 2008 by Subedei

Steve Shovlar
The crowdf last year was easily the biggest ever seen at cardiff for the GP. They were quoting 40,000 + ;ast year, and this time around are saying 45,000 +. If the prediction they are making becomes reality, it will be the biggest crowd. We'll see soon enough. Spot on about img loving the falls and injuries, you forgot to mention the sky production team and a fair proportion of the crowd also loving it. If only regular speedway followers went to cardiff then they might start voting with there feet over the appalling state of the track, but by my reckoning thousands of them aren't regular supporters. The next time the GP is in Cardiff I suggest you spend time during the day speaking to people who are there for the speedway - you will find very that they are regular attenders of one or (in some cases) more than one club, very knowledgable about the sport - or maybe I was lucky and only spoke to those that were ?? Sure there may have been some 'big event attenders/glory hunters' there last night but the VAST majority attending were true speedway fans, or maybe to be a true speedway supporter we have to sit on our couch, watch it on TV and complain about the track, Sky commentators, the price of tea and the fact that the chocolate on Mcvities digestives seem to be getting thinner ??? You obviously were lucky, for the past few years i've been i've always been surronded by londoners that haven't got a track to go to. Work it out, how many people go to speedway on a regular basis? how many regulars dont go to cardiff? and believe me paul the sums speak for themselves. Thats Complete Bollox, When you say Londoners, What exact area are you covering, i think you will find that a lot of "Londoners" dont actualy live in London any more but the surrounding towns and villages, giving them quite a few tracks to go and watch Speedway Edited June 29, 2008 by Onc Onc
