iris123
To be fair, Davey was only in this because Theo Pijper got injured. To be correct he was in this because he won the previous rounds meeting. Why he was in that is history
Steve Turner
Very disappointing that Stead, Kennett or King couldn't get through against riders of the caliber such as Jedrezak, Nermark and Davidsson who are riders they can beat comfortably on other tracks. Gutted for Watty, he would have won this. Just four things I'll reply to there Tomasz Jędrzejak is a fine rider. Better than all three Brits at the moment, I'd say. Jonas Davidsson (the real one, granted ! ) is also a very good rider. As for Nermark, he's a classy rider, not great, but he made the most of two Gate 1's in his last two rides. It had a HUGE advantage all meeting. Of the four riders who had that 'double' benefit, only Danny King missed out. And as for Dave winning the meeting...maybe he thought the same, and so opted out of practice to earn money instead. But you, like he, will never know what might have been... schumi
To be correct he was in this because he won the previous rounds meeting. Why he was in that is history But Davey never chose to be in this. He opted not to do the Aussie Championships (to get into this event) and stay here instead. As was his choice this time (which I do think is commendable.) Edited July 5, 2008 by fluffy

He must surely have made a decision to ride in the previous meeting in Abensberg And anyway Schlein didn't ride in the Aussie Championships either. Schlein should probably have stayed home too.
tony159
Sad to see that the loyalty Davey showed to Poole and the Elite League back fired on him with a flight delay today . What price loyalty .
SCOOBYDO
Has there ever been a GP qualifier ever held in the UK? Seems like the Brits have to travel here there and everywhere every season to try and qualify !!! Not saying they would qualify even if held at a UK track !!! Steve Turner
There's a lot of gating tarts heading for that GP Final, and it's likely to be a gater's track at ZG, so that should make for an interesting meeting !
Subedei
I'd expect much support for home favourite Grzegorz Walasek, while Lee Richardson was once a favourite of the Falubaz crowd.
