norbold
I'm sure it did, speedyguy. The whole page article promoting the book, together with some personal reminiscences of the writer, was much appreciated. In fairness, I think I should add that the article and advert in Classic Speedway also played its part. norbold
Thank you, fb, you won't regret it. Although actually you might, as the last I heard it was sold out and the publishers had none left. Can you let me know what they say about your order? Thanks. Hi Norbold, One of my colleagues on the shop floor ordered it for me, i'm the goods in/out maestro upstairs and haven't a clue about the ordering side of things. I work in Waterstone's and he said the publisher was out of stock but one of our wholesalers had two in stock, so hopefully i'll have it soon! I'll post up when it arrives. All the best, Marty

norbold
Got my copy today - and read it i a couple of hours - brilliant stuff! Thank you, Lejon...I try my best. What is the next step - Wembley post war? Next is a biography of Tom Farndon. Tom was already my hero, but the more I read about him while researching "Out of the Frying Pan" the more I felt his story just had to be told and made public. He was the greatest! falkirkbandit
Excellent book Norbold, i didn't get round to starting it until late last week and finished it after my tea tonight, i thoroughly enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to the Tom Farndon bio when its out, he sounded some rider in the book. Marty
