I love the rivallry between the pair of them and it's gonna go on for many years to come Agreed, but as said above Chris would have wanted to win just as much.. Lets hope so, 2 great riders! On to the meeting anyways... Presentation very slick... Track VERY slick which although produced good racing, could have been so much better if more water had been laid and left to soak in... Programme was very good... I'm sure people wouldn't mind paying an extra 50p or £1 if they got one as good as that...Still had one or two mistakes in it though Tai was sensational to watch as always, going to be hard to replace him around Rye when he moves in EL. Bridger was a very lucky boy and it just shows what a decent young man Tai is to basically wave him on by... Definitely gotta make sure he steps up a gear for the final... Arriving at the circuit at 9.30am the track looked very wet indeed and, talking to Len S he told us that, after getting the track back after Saturday's practice he absolutely flooded the circuit overnight and had been back at the circuit since very early Sunday morning and had done so again and his efforts were plain to see. Throughout the morning, once the track began to dry, he was out there again with the water tanker. It even varies widely from one UK track to another. If I want to be peppered with grit then I go to Scunthorpe; if I prefer the slower death through choking then it's Rye House. Not much wrong with his style last night. I thought that was the second best performance I've ever seen by him (the best being his Monmore debut).
