your missing the point as always... but there you go, not a lot can be done about that :D

but well done, you actually got something correct for a change :D

No I got the point, it just wasn't funny. With humour like that though, I'm sure that the nights fly by in your house hold.

Thank You, it's a shame the same can't be said about you but there's always next time.

If you can't see that ONE of the runnerS up is a runner up, then you need to go back to school.

ONE of the idiotS is an idiot. ONE of the people is a person. ONE of the riderS is a rider. ONE of the chickenS is a chicken.

If 2nd to 7th are runners up, what is 7th? A runner up

So, using your theory 16th is also a runner-up...............now I know why they say nobody ever remembers the runner-up.........clearly, it's because there's too many of them TO remember.

"2. runners-up, the competitors who do not win a contest but who place ahead of the majority of the contestants and share in prizes or honors, as those who place second, third, and fourth, or in the top ten."

7th is ahead of the majority. It's also a "share of the prizes" as the "prize" is the next round.

Once again you have used an additional s to add credence to your arguement....................runner-up is second..............simple as that!!!!

If the 1-7 are runners up, collectively, singularly they are a runner up.

A plural has to have a singular.

Thanks you`d never of guessed

No one seems to have given Lewis a chance in this meeting, think he will do well.

Lewis loves Rye and was going better than the PL boys when he turned up as a CL nipper a few years ago...... he is one of the last guys I would rule out

Most of the field ive never heard of but I think Lewis should qualify as he has more experience on the smaller tracks then the Poles etc.

A glorious sunny morning. Hopefully Len will keep his watering can regularly replenished otherwise we're in for a dusty afternoon.

Sure is a glorious morn except that I cannot come to terms with having to get up at the crack of dawn! Good luck to the Brits and the two Aussies (my 'adopted' country!) Looking forward to a great meeting.
