Subedei
Is Bomber not in the qualifiers ??? Don't be silly. You don't expect princes of the sport like Harris and the British champion - who is banging on about knowing he "can win one" in the Speedway Star again this week - to enter something so far beneath their status as the qualifiers. So pleased you said the British Champion. Because that's what he is, maybe not fantastic on the world stage but the best we have by a long way and will be for a few year yet. To the nation's eternal shame - has British speedway ever been laid so low?
beesboybert
Well Andy Smith was 3 times british champion, and he was even worse in the G.P's, so things are actually on the up Sub! Edited June 20, 2008 by beesboybert

sunnset
A couple of weeks ago Chris rode for Wolves in place of NKI and was brill and yet in the Denmark GP didn't do anything to speak off, i was really hoping that it would be the turning point to his GP season but not, Maybe Cradiff will be. I do think that the Wild Card (place 16) at Cardiff should be a Brit cos at the moment the two Brits really should not be chose for next's years GP (on current form). beesboybert
Looking at the table it isn't all doom and gloom just yet, especially for Nicholls. It is well reknown his G.P form gets better as the season goes on. Cardiff is usuall a turning point for him and after there he usually begins to make the semis and the odd final. At the minute he is 11th and 15 points off the automatic qualification places, and Poland aside he has been on the verge of the semi finals, without being at his best. Sure he needs to improve, but I stil wouldnt write him off

keepturningleft
There is only one Brit in Saturday's Motogp. The Brits just don't do winning at top level sport, including speedway!
Hazzman
There is only one Brit in Saturday's Motogp. The Brits just don't do winning at top level sport, including speedway! But there is a number of encouraging youngsters in the classes below who are extremely young in the mould of a Holder. We don't even have that.
