Vincent Vega
Winning the British GP could have been the worse thing to happen to Bomber. Ever since everyone has expected too much of him. The Sky mob went well over the top afterwards last year saying he could win the title stuff like that. He seems like a shy fella and then they use him on that god awful advert where he looks like a complete muppet. Sky leave Bomber alone let get on with things quietly and he will improve the fella is under too much pressure.

Seb the Snail
If he can't stand the heat, he ought not to be in the kitchen. Exactly. He's on the world stage now, and no doubt earning a pretty penny for the privilege. If he wants to get his head down and focus purely on his racing then that's up to him. The ludicrous Cardiff advert only served to make him look stupid, but I can't believe that anyone forced him to do it, and I'll bet he got a big fat cheque at the end of the day. spanner47
Lets face it, apart from wroclaw and cardiff last year he's been very average/poor, if he was danish/polish he'd have never got a sniff at the gp's. He's only in there because the rest of the brits are so poor.
spook
rubbish he justified his wild card last season by winning a GP and missing out on qualification by an extremely slim margin.............. I may be wrong but i dont believe there has been a gp winner in the recent past who has not been given a wild card for the next season It is difficult to tell what Bombers issue is this season but from what ive seen it looks more like machinery issues than confidence issues................... last season his machinery was very competitive and very consistent. he was usually setup for tracks well from the first heat.......... it is clear that this isnt happening this season Both Bomber and Scotty want to start picking up the pace and hope that if they are relying on a wild card that those outside the top 8 in front of them dont win any GP's (ie Holta)....... if that happens I think the only way it can be justified for GB to have a rider is if it is given to someone new...... but the likes of Kennett, Woffinden etc are too green for this currently
Peter
The problem is Sky build him up like he's some kind of god. He wins a GP because someone else made a mistake and people think he's the best thing since sliced bread. Neither Harris or Nicholls deserve to be in the GPs next year. Most, if not all, British riders are overrated. I can't believe I picked both of them in the GP predicition game on this forum. British Speedway is in a poor state and will continue to decline until we have a set-up in place for kids similar to Sweden and Denmark. stevebrum
To be fair he built his part up himself. Winning the British Final AND British GP comes with its own pressures. Hes a pale comparison to the rider he was last season although at least he seems to be getting it together in the league. Still not convinced he is the real deal just yet and seems to be struggling somewhat. But he still can have a big future.

MattK
Come off it. What would any speedway rider give for a tenth of the publicity that Lewis Hamilton gets?

sancho
Bomber & Scott are 11 & 12 points behind 8th place after 3 rounds not quite a disaster yet with 8 rounds to go.
LisaColette
Bomber & Scott are 11 & 12 points behind 8th place after 3 rounds not quite a disaster yet with 8 rounds to go. but don't remember them starting the season this bad before. quite surprising to see scott struggling though, cos he looks like fast when riding for eastbourne this year - unless he just tries extra hard when he comes to poole!! their main problem is their gating, even when they are off the best gate they are struggling to get to the first bend first. once they sort that out, they should improve. easier said than done though!!
