Roun 4 for Elitserien looks great... I hope to watch Saederna - Masarna [buczek, KK, Jagus, Miskowiak vs Adams & Emil and others] meeting later this week. I hope there will be a torrent file available to download :-)

Holder badly bruised after fall in Under 21Qualifier, so has pulled out of Belle Vue match tonight and from Swedish match on Tuesday.

Any results through yet?

I guess a better summary will come later. The greatest suprise today was Masarna win against Smederna. Adams & Emil were the men of the match when they beat Jagus & Davidsson in heat 14.

Jason Crump was involved in a crash with Swiderski and H Jonasson and had to withdraw from the meeting. According to the news his wrist might got injured, and he also complained about his knee & head. The question is how bad it is, in the worst case he wont be able to take part in the GP in Gothenburg this weekend.

The results:

Smederna-Masarna 46-50

Smederna: Wieslaw Jagus 12, Robert Miskowiak 9, Krzysztof Kasprzak 8, Jonas Davidsson 8, Linus Eklöf 6, Rory Schlein 2, Krzysztof Buczkowski. Masarna: Leigh Adams 14, Emil Sajfutdinov 11, Kenneth Bjerre 10, Dave Watt 9, Billy Janniro 5, Simon Stead.

Dackarna-Rospiggarna 56-40

Dackarna: Fredrik Lindgren 14, Andreas Jonsson 14, Hans Andersen 13, Peter Karlsson 11, Ludvig Lindgren 2, Sebastian Aldén, Andreas Bergström. Rospiggarna: Chris Slabon 10, Travis McGowan 8, Janusz Kolodziej 7, Charlie Gjedde 6, Greg Hancock 5, Mateusz Szczepaniak 3, Jonas Messing.

Indianerna-Piraterna 50-45

Indianerna: Piotr Protasiewicz 13, Matej Ferjan 9, Adrian Miedzinski 9, Henrik Gustafsson 8, Simon Gustafsson 5, Magnus Zetterström 4, Edward Kennet 2. Piraterna: Ryan Sullivan 11, Grzegorz Walasek 9, Daniel Nermark 8, Robert Kosiecha 6, Damian Balinski 5, Stefan Dannö 5, Linus Sundström.

That's a little unfair to drop a cog's great hope - unSteady scored a point. Simon Stead for the GPs? Tee hee Mrs Miggins, tee hee.

Nah, not from me anyway. Been hectic at work and now I'm off to Malmö (for Gnistorna vs Njudungarna). Normal service will be resumed next week. :D

I thought it was a pretty good meeting between Smederna and Masarna. The way Saifutdinov rode against Jagus in the last race was very hard but entertaining. Other good battles there too! I cant really understand how J3000nas Davidsson was complaining about the track in the press today, there honestly werent that many ruts in it.

That's a culture clash Sub, in Sweden, for only one point, we just put the riders name. Had he scored 0 his name would not even be there.

EDIT: Btw, who's Mrs Miggins?

Wifey and I went to Kumla last night & saw one of the worst refereeing we have ever seen. the 4 riders were up at the tapes with 4 seconds left on the countdown clock when Zorro´s bike burst into flames. Zorro was on blue and Robert Kosciecha was on red, Kosciecha was moved out of the way by the start marshall to put out Zorro´s bike and was then promptly excluded by the referee for not being ready at the start. If this is the level of refereeing in Sweden I dont thing we do too bad.

That incident has led to huge debate in Sweden aswell and most people would agree that's über-harsh by the ref. Sorry if it marred your impression of Swedish speedway, how was the meeting otherwise?

What I read from the Swedish links it said Kosciecha moved away... If indeed he was moved by the start marshall, it makes it all even a bit more silly.

Well... as bad refereeing calls are made, they are made by a Swedish ref it seems. I'm sure Liverstam and other Swedish forum members saw how Finland scored against team USA in ice hockey just a couple weeks ago... It was a Swedish video ref that approved the goal...

It wasn't a bad meeting racing wise, I think that if you have 2 teams of about the same strength and no out and out heat leader you have better meetings, unlike in GB where you have GP riders trying to team ride with conference riders.
