Blazeaway
Now this is an interesting one. Both GP's thus far have been won by rider number 9 and this time NKI has been given it. Both previous times TG & LA had Blue, Red, Red in their last 3 qualifying heats and then had favourable gates in the semis and final. Will it happen a third time? No! AJ to win in Sweden. Subedei
Heat 2 - Poland v Denmnark: Gate A - Rune Holta Gate B - Nicki Pedersen Gate C - Tomasz Gollob Gate D - Hans Andersen I think I'm right in saying that young Andersen was the last Ullevi winner in the GPs. Seems like Bjarne will be back for this according to the DMU site Why rush back just to be humiliated? I really don't know why he bothers with the GPs. rusky
I believe Scotty Nicholls was also there. The track sounds to be well prepared and its 417 metres long! By all accounts the track did stand up well as the 4 riders tested it. There was no obvious rutting or break up. The suggestion was that the base was very solid

B52
does anyone no if the stadium will be open to the public on friday for the practise session?? The big stadium jobs are usually NOT open for the public on practice days. Cardiff and Germany certainly weren't. Get yourself up to Liseberg theme park, I believe it's a much better way to spend your Friday (before the pubs n clubs anyway!).
Ghostwalker
does anyone no if the stadium will be open to the public on friday for the practise session?? yes it will, it starts at 15.00 and the entrence fee is about 4.2 GBP. So I agree wtith B52. In Gothenburg there are much to do & see so dont waste the friday afternoon at the arena. Go shopping (like at Nordstan shopping centre) and sighteseeing and at the evening go to Liseberg Edited May 18, 2008 by Ghostwalker

Sandie
ok then thanks for that - how far is liseberg from the centre of gothenburg? is it walkable? and how much is it to get in? TG It is in the centre of town. We staying at Gothia Towers Hotal and its just over the road!! And prices - Entrance on its own is around £5 or a 1 day ride pass will cost you £25 Or you can buy ride couplons which are about £1.75 each. For the rollercoaster you will need 4 coupons and for the Flume you will need 3 Gives you an idea of the costs. Hope that helps.
Ghostwalker
ok then thanks for that - how far is liseberg from the centre of gothenburg? is it walkable? and how much is it to get in? sure its walkable its in the city centre not far from hotels, shopping etc (see map ) entrence for people age 7 or older is £5.98. A "1 day ride pass" (free rides all day) is ~£24.8/person. I'm not sure about the resturants inside there are several big resrurants inside (a swell as fast food) but there is a risk that they are overcrowded so it could be wise to eat before entering the park.
