ianmartin
I wonder if scarletrider is related to the screaming imbecile? I thought that things were not supposed to get personal on this Site. You can't get much more personal than this. This is usually a friendly Forum - I may not bother to come on it again if personal attacks go on like this. It's not good enough. VERY HURTFUL POST SUBEDEI !! Ghostwalker
Was at work all last night, so missed it all. Was just wondering how JD performed at wildcard? 7 points, put him not far off a semi? JD did a decent job not good not bad. he got a 0 in the first heat because of a loose ignition cable. That probably costed him a semi final place. Edited May 25, 2008 by Ghostwalker
wightlink flyer
Congratulations to Freddie Lingren, a refreshing change, a worthy winner. Stadium....great Track....disgraceful Racing....spoilt through too many iriders being injured. Brits....never really in the hunt. Top marks to Holta and Lingren. We are not the only ones confused. The sunday paper I read today also had Lindgren as the winner....
KEITH M
According to my sums, the former British champion has had SIXTY attempts to win a Grand Prix and hasn't come close. Can't get much closer than this without winning it http://www.speedwayworld.tv/en/sgpresult/m27
volt
Hello from the states Only being able so far to see the main. I dont get why people are questioning the power from Rune. If you watch, you can clearly see no wheel spin on his tire. He is clearly hooked up on the outside. Pederson gets great start but clearly is spinning in the water down the inside coming out of first turn. Lindgren has rut problems half way through first turn and then has to back out of it down the back straight away. Crump looks very weary the entire race. Leg is down the entire straightaway end of first lap. From my point of view was a great race on a real bad track. You guys are so lucky being able to see these races. The US once again drops the ball broadcasting these events. But will be in Cardiff for my first trip to England. As a retired rider I cant wait. P.S. anyone have a link to see the AJ crash? stevebrum
For the time being. and 12 others would happily swap that. Well it depends what you are after Steve. On Monday against Ipswich I think Freddie won his last 3 or 4 rides - however he turned straight round and went back into the pits - not really giving you anything to support is it However - he was the best rider on show last night indeed. I think some of your lot were saying over the past few years we had no one of quality to get into the GPs and now we have
Subedei
Can't get much closer than this without winning it http://www.speedwayworld.tv/en/sgpresult/m27 Second is nowhere. And in those finals (just SEVEN in SIXTY, remember) he has made, he's never looked likely to win.
JIROUT
Sub You seem to have insulted everyone today and tried your best to talk about Scott to defer any criticism of Tomasz Gollob........Your thoughts would be interesting on the Gollob ,Jonsson crash jb
screm
After just watching the incident again, I just cannot see how anyone can defend Gollob, he moved right across Jonsson and caused the crash..It's as simple as that. Lee Richardson, Sam Ermolenko and Kelvin Tatum were in no doubt about it whatsoever, and nor am I. Wouldnt disagree with any of the comments about Gollob, what was even more dis-tasteful was when Dryml and Tomicek crashed Gollob parked the bike in middle of the track waving at the referee when anyone could see that the crash wasnt the fault of the rides. Or are you going to tie yourself in knots again? Wouldnt disagree with any of the comments about Gollob, what was even more dis-tasteful was when Dryml and Tomicek crashed Gollob parked the bike in middle of the track waving at the referee when anyone could see that the crash wasnt the fault of the rides. I don't think Gollob was making any point other than that the track was a disgrace, which it was. Edited May 25, 2008 by Subedei

Subedei
Sub No fully agree with you ..Gollob should have gone... jb You just can't help yourself, can you? Thank you, young fellow. Once again you've tied yourself in knots. If you were consistent, you'd have said Gollob was in front and could do what he liked, such as take a dive, like Miskowiak on Monday, or ride the line he wanted. Bobbin' Along
What do you mean who else have WE got ............. this GP series is nothing to do with British Speedway or any other country for that matter, it's a completely separate body of speedway promotion. What a wonderful job they are doing too ............... NOT! Trees - I am guilty of using "we" in the greater, world wide sense. "We" as in the entire speedway community. "We" as in everyone who has an interest in speedway, regardless of country of origin. Not "we" in the jingoistic, British only sense. Authorised
It's fifty. I know its 50. So by your previous quote, he is lucky be there. I refer to your statement regarding 30 GPs.
Subedei
I know its 50. So by your previous quote, he is lucky be there. I refer to your statement regarding 30 GPs. How is he lucky? He was kicked out and fought his way back in. Remind me how many times the former British champion has been shown charity? If he'd been any other nationality than British, he'd have been kicked out the same way Holta was.
Authorised
How is he lucky? Good question, I do not think so, but....... If he was any nationality other than British he'd be lucky to have thirty GPs to his name. Because, my dear friend Subedei, you said so! What with Rune having 50 GPs to his name. And prior to last night, Scott Nicholls has been closer to winning a GP than Rune Holta, a rider I admire greatly! It also shows age not to be a barrier! Dear me, you're not awfully clever, are you? Let us look at the records: 2004 12..S Nicholls 14..R Holta Both out of the top eight, the former British champion nominated, Holta dropped. 2005 9..S Ncholls Still the former British champion out of the top eight, but again a bit of begging and he gets nominated. 2006 11..S Nicholls Once again, the former British champion resorts to begging and gets a nomination to save his skin after finishing outside the top eight. Meanwhile, Rune Holta qualifies for the GPs at Vetlanda. Edited May 26, 2008 by Subedei

You twist and turn according to your loyalties and prejudices. Try having a few principles now and again, you might find yourself able to hold your own in a debate then.
