iris123
They have to get out and do a track repair after every two heats or something. No good a couple of blokes raking some dirt into the holes Gollob just pointed out a few ruts and they send the others straight out again!!!!!! shazzybird
Jeeeeeeeeesus what the hell is going on with that track!
sheffieldscot
Oh My God. One of these brave lads is going to get seriously hurt here. The curse of Ullevi strikes again. You need to get that track sorted out now!!!!!
tigerblues
ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! Few bad crashes, final straw there though. Tomasz Gollob does not just fall off. World class riders just flying off like they don't even belong in the GPs. See the state of the track that Gollob pointed out? Totally wrong, and very dangerous. Get it sorted now. What's going to happen when someone hits a rut and, as has nearly happened once or twice tonight someone comes and hits said rider, or if the rider just falls off hard enough to do some serious damage. What will Mr Olsen think of his crap tracks then? Time to do something about this, crap racing is one thing and we can all live with that, we all have to see it at some point but when world class riders are falling off and obviously are at danger then we know that the state of the track is clearly NOT acceptable. srbramble
You'd think they would know how to lay a track by now, especially after the farce a few years back! Heat 16 has turned this meeting into a joke.
Ashie
The sad part is that the dodgy track is making for the most entertaining GP of the season to date. It really should not be like that should it! On a side note, how many times during a Sky meeting does that pointless, prattling Pearson have to go on about speedway riders being made of tough stuff? I have lost count tonight in the GP, he is right, but it is a tad brown tonguish from Pearson, and he keeps going on about footballers rolling around with little knocks, compared to speedway riders, whilst I agree that speedway riders do get more knocked around etc, he clearly as not had any football boot studs on his shins! Happy to oblige Nige if you want to do your research about why footballers roll around in agony some times.
Blazeaway
How on earth can a track be "semi permanent"?
Ashie
How on earth can a track be "semi permanent"? Do they mean they have a football pitch over the edges of the bends normally?
iris123
How on earth can a track be "semi permanent"? It was layed down with Kaparna doing league meetings on it as well.Rather than just for the one meeting. But Kaparna didn't enter the league Edited May 24, 2008 by iris123

acef
What an absolute shambles of a race track. Great advertisement for speedway, isnt it? I just hope someone doesnt get hurt. Dont know who was in front Gollob in heat 16 but had he been 2 metres further ahead (Gollob) it would have been pretty serious. Guest Schumi
It was layed down with Kaparna doing league meetings on it as well.Rather than just for the one meeting. But Kaparna didn't enter the league Well, they didn't actually ride on it. They were told they could only have the track for a limited time, and I think that's part of the reason they pulled out.

Yes.That is what i wanted to say.Swapping from german to english isn't easy for me.I meant it was layed down so early with Kaparna doing league meetings in mind, but they didn't enter the league. Blazeaway
The track was laid two weeks ago. In my eyes that makes it temporary. This is the worst track we'v had for a long while.
