Adder
so who is going tomorrow? I will be there and the legendary Frankie will be in attendance to challenge SCB on his knowledge of the rule book. I wasn't going to bother but I have changed my mind, should be a good meeting. Is it 20 heats with top 2 thru to the final and the next 4 in a "semi-final"? And are the 20 heats the same as the GP format? If so I can use my GP spreadsheet rather than shell out two quid for an advert pamphlet (programme)! PS: Come on Simmo! k3v1n83
I wasn't going to bother but I have changed my mind, should be a good meeting. Is it 20 heats with top 2 thru to the final and the next 4 in a "semi-final"? Going by the live updates its a single semi and top 2 through stright through And are the 20 heats the same as the GP format? If so I can use my GP spreadsheet rather than shell out two quid for an advert pamphlet (programme)! PS: Come on Simmo! It should be, the 20 heat individual is a standard format also good luck to Willie Lawson

SCOOBYDO
Are any of you guys meeting up at the meeting for a pre-match drink ?!!! If so where are you going to be?
beesboybert
Got to be between Scotty and Bomber, having seen bomber at Blunsdon a couple of weeks ago I would say he should win if he can continue such form, however Scotty also impressed when I saw him on sky at blunsdon. My prediction 1st Bomber 2nd Scotty 3rd Tai
Adder
Are any of you guys meeting up at the meeting for a pre-match drink ?!!! If so where are you going to be? I'll be having a couple of sharpeners in a pub near Swindon railway station before heading up to Blunsdon. Will be just outside the 'Terrace Bar' in the stadium resting my cider on the window ledge! I'll have a blue jacket and a bright orange YSL polo shirt on so feel free to pop over and say hello! Probably be a Scott/Harris 1,2 in whatever order but the battle for the wildcard should be good. Kennett is probably favourite but if i had to have an outside bet it would be on Ben Barker. He went very well round Blunsdon a few weeks ago for the Bees. I'd maybe say Tai was the favourite for the wildcard, but I agree entirely with you about Ben Barker....he could (and I hope he does) surprise a few people tonight. Good luck ben I'm not sure what I'll be wearing as I didn't pack the bag, but if you see somebody wandering around in a towel, speedos and swimming cap you will know I picked up the gym bag by mistake
spin king
I think riders who could be looking good for the wildcard will be Tai, Eddie Kennett and Simon Stead, and for a outside bet don't discount James Wright.

crazysue
No it isn't Dave. Ok, others have put what they are wearing so here is mine..... Jeans, large jumper (I feel the cold so easily, may not be a fashion item or flattering but it's lovely and warm) and a Speedway Updates fleece jacket, all nicely labelled with my name. No children with me this time so those who know me, don't look out for the kids to see if I am there as they are way up in Cumbria!
Dave J
The biggest meeting in the British speedway calendar and it's not televised? That makes sense
Maccas
Should be a good meeting, Gonna have to watch it on the updates though Bomber and Scotty to both dominate but Danny to get the Wildcard
