tommy
Well done William Lawson Have to say I was impressed with both Lawson and Roynon. Lawson had toruble with his bike in before his 4th heat and had to go to his no. 2 but made it in time.

tommy
What aspect of them impressed you Tommy? Interested to know. Both smart riding, they don't stick to one line all meeting (like Karpov for example who had fast engines but rode the same line all night). Roynon lacked some speed but fought hard in every heat for every inch. Lawson first time on continental track, after a tough first heat and shaky start settled down nicely with decent gating.. was defending his position in a couple of heats nicely. Didnt fold under pressure in the race-off either.
iris123
Lawson first time on continental track, Doesn't Vojens count then tommy? Must say i was very impressed with Adam last year in Brokstedt.Lawson wasn't so impressive in Vojens, but then it was a semi-final so the opposition was that much stronger.Disappointed Kevin didn't make it through.Think someone said a few weeks back that he has never been eliminated from a junior competition before. Not 100% sure that is correct, but he has made all the U19 Finals he entered and did make last years U21 final as well.He should have done better considering he spent a couple of years at ZG

Facher was excellent out of the gate, how old is he? Edited May 20, 2008 by tommy
Midnight_Lady
William Lawson's progression in to the next round hasn't even been given a mention on the BSPA site I can't help feeling if William had been English we would have seen a report. Appalling

iris123
Was placing Kev a lot higher in the standings so his performance was a bit disapponting. Have seen on the net that it has been reported Kevin was ill in bed the day before the meeting.Apparently one magazine has reported he had Angina So that might explain why Kevin didn't make it through
