Guest Steve Dixon
Just noticed on a pic I took of Jason last week, he has seven stars accross his handlebar covers, 2 gold coloured the rest white, would this be his countdown to seven world titles? http://img124.imageshack.us/img124/7545/jasoncrumpcf0.jpg
Najjer
Is that not also two gold stars on his knee?
Guest Steve Dixon
Yes and five in pink. My thought was like the footy teams have taken to, gold stars for titles won.

Brent
Only one winner this year. No one will get near Nicki. Heard the same message last year about Crump: only he can lose it and everyone chasing second
Steve Shovlar
As I said. Crump is yesterdays man. Nicki Pedersen only came second tonight but thats enough compared to the rest. Gollob isn't consistent enough. Crump was pretty rubbish, as was Adams, the other so called challenger.

Steve Shovlar
And where was Bjarne. No point bringing up a rider that was and never will be in contention at GP level. And if it was meant as a windup I don't follow Bjarne at GP level, prefering to cheer for the Brits. I am talking about NP's challengers, and at the moment he really doesn't have any. This year its going to be a cake walk for him.

Will misss out on final when Pedersen is guarenteed to be there. Expect his reign to last in 2009 as well. He is just head and shoulders above the rest. And no I am not a fan of his! Jonsson and Andersen were in the final alongside Pedersen and I think they could give him a good run for his money. Disastrous start for Adams who'll be playing catch up already. Crump is only 7 behind Pedersen and can easily make that up. Long way to go yet. Edited April 26, 2008 by youngy105

Crump is only 5 behind Pedersen and can easily make that up. Long way to go yet. Time has moved on and left Crump behind. It looked like 2007 revisited before the rain came. Pedersen blitzed Crump when they met, just like TRick used to when he was riding and top dog. Adams and Crump will continue to throw away points whilst Pedersens gating and pure aggression will see him remain number one, which he is by quite a margin. He won't win every GP but I bet he only misses one or two finals all year. Just hope that of of his rivals gives him a hard time winning it. But I can't see it this year. mikec
Andersen's a live threat for sure, though he's more likely on for bronze or 4th spot I'd guess. Wouldn't be writing Crumpy off just yet either, he ground out a result tonight when off the pace by his high standards. Congrats to Gollob, I think he'll win in Leszno too - then fall back into the pack as Cardiff & Copenhagen arrive. Nicki's a class act but I see a closer series taking shape this time. After some pretty tough injuries it was good to see Lukas Dryml back to some kinda form on the big stage as well.
