ylinenhare5-1
Best of luck to William Lawson tonight - I think he can do it. His early season form has been very encouraging and around Armadale he has been brilliant. With Lakeside also being small, could be a good sign that William can do it tonight! GO WILLIAM!!!! Aces51
Steve practiced and therefore, one assumes, will be riding. Thanks. According to Rob on the Aces unofficial site Steve has not yet had the result of the scan but is riding with his shoulder heavily strapped and is taking pain killers. Hope he does well. superguest
Updates here Thanks to superguest for the riding order! Anyone got a spreadsheet I can bung these names in, so I don't get in a total mess? Dont know if it will help but by using the format from the two other qualifers might help you to know what number will be in what heat. Weather is fine. Steve Boxall IS riding. Heat 1 - Barker by some distance, cat & mouse for the other three places. Heat 2 - Beston fell, but up and cleared the track Heat 3 - Good battle for two laps at the front before Bridger pulled away. Heat 4 - Halsey fell first lap 3rd bend up & OK. Heat 5 - Impressive win by Haines. Great race for third. Heat 6 - Woffinden looking ominously good for the rest of the field. Heat 8 - Impressive win by Barker, Bridger gave it his all but couldn't find a way past. After 2 rides each leader are - Ben Barker & Tai Woffinden 6; Bridger, Lawson, Roynon, Roberts & Boxall 4. Heat 9 - Woffinden very impressive again. Heat 11 - Haines impressive in second Heat 12 - Awarded. Betson fell on the straight, ambulance on track. After 3 rides each leader are - Tai Woffinden 9; Ben Barker 8; Adam Roynon, Lewis Bridger & Steve Boxall 7. Betson has been taken to hospital with suspected leg & shoulder injuries. He is replaced in heat 13 by Andrew Tully. Heat 13 - Tully passed Roberts lap 2. Heat 16 - Woffinden gated 3rd but was leading by the end of turn 2. After 4 rides each leader are - Tai Woffinden 12; Ben Barker, Adam Roynon, Lewis Bridger 10; William Lawson, Steve Boxall 8. Betson hasn't gone to hospital, he is being treated at the track, he is badly bruised but nothing is broken, Kyle Huges replaces him in his final ride. Final scores: Tai Woffinden 14; Lewis Bridger, Adam Royon 13; Ben Barker, William Lawson 11; Steve Boxall 10. Bridger & Woffinden through to the final. Roynon, Barker, Lawson & Boxall in the last chance semi. Semi: Boxall fell but is fine. Final: Bridger fell is excluded, took Barker down with him as he tried to pass Woffinden who was leading. To be rerun with three riders. Bridger hobbling but OK, Barker is fine. Woffinden wins despite a terrific effort by Roynon to pass him in the final Special mention from texter to Jack Roberts & Joe Haines who looked exceptional for their age & lack of experience. Scott0311
Well done to Mr Woffinden. And he's still got another 4 goes in the competition! Congratulations to Tai. Does this mean Tai is now a fully fledged Brit or is the U21 Championship now similar to the Aussie Championships which have guest foreign riders
