Subedei
But it looks as if Gorzow are confident that Tomasz Gollob will remain with their club next season: http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2008/09/...w-stali-gorzow/
Mateusz
But it looks as if Gorzow are confident that Tomasz Gollob will remain with their club next season: http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2008/09/...w-stali-gorzow/ This has worried me a bit but I'm not gonna believe in any 'Gollob going there or Gollob staying here' story until he signs his contract with a given and it's officially announced. Anyway, won't be surprised if he stays in Gorzow.

Subedei
Any rough translation?? Presumed Gollob would be coming "home" after Bydgoszcz's promotion?? A rough translation is that Gollob has told Gorzow he will say and although no contract has been signed the club believe Gollob will stick to his word just as he did a year ago. Mateusz
Gollob confirmed this on this on his website so looks like he's about to sign with Gorzow in fact. http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2008/09/...lob-potwierdza/ It's a shame if he does it but least he's not gonna keep us in suspense till March when it would be too late too get any decent rider instead. But maybe some things will get sorted soon and it will get better. Have been told only one name so far and I'm far from being impressed. Will write more when I'm allowed to. Hazzman
Have been told only one name so far and I'm far from being impressed. Simon Stead and David Howe signed four-year deals today reports SportoweFakty..........

Defintely came up with Account suspended, Account may be oversubscribed, or user has used all resources available. Working now though.. so at least I can now wallow in past meetings and enjoy the great racing again.... Loved last nights one, what looked like a very wet track to start with didn't stop those boys having a real good go.
Niclas
Hi Lawrence My brother has had his spleen removed & lives a fairly normal life. As quite rightly advised by Hazzman, the spleen is there apparantly to ward off infections so he may struggle with colds & flu a bit more. My brother has to carry a card in his wallet to advise he has no spleen in case he has an accident but apart from that i dont think there's anything majorly different to when he had his spleen. Horror smash so fingers x'd that Krzysztof makes a full & quick recovery cos i've enjoyed watching him race this yr a lot. As far as I know, swedish hockeyplayer Peter Forsberg had his spleen removed after a it was ruptured in a NHL-game for a couple of years ago. Even if he has plenty of problems with other injuries, the the removed spleen doesnt stop him from playing ice-hockey. So I guess Buczkowski wont have any problems getting back on the track if he wants. However, I hope he will recover asap.

Was hoping to attract some decent names being back in the Ekstraliga altho the season hasnt finished yet so there is plenty of time i suppose. Look forward to hearing the names in due course. Unless the current chairman (the same old c*ck who sank this team to Divison 1 two years ago) resignes, I can't see any bright future for Polonia Bydgoszcz. Unless the current chairman (the same old c*ck who sank this team to Divison 1 two years ago) resignes, I can't see any bright future for Polonia Bydgoszcz. That would be a big shame as they have the best race track in the Polish Leagues so they need a team now to go with it. Presume the chairman doesnt spend big on riders then, is that what's holding them back?? Surely, with a base of AJ, Emil, Joonas D & a couple of others they should be more than capable of holding their own in Ekstraliga??
Subedei
Bydgoszcz nearly went to the wall circa 2003 and the reason was the amount of money going into the pockets of Mr Gollob. I think, but I'm not sure, that the current chairman rescued the club from that crisis.
Lawrence
There are 2 ways: 1 - To complete as strong team as possible, and do battle for at least 6th place or... 2 - Anorther relegation to I liga, and that is the way to Lawrence`s comeback as commentary man :-) But Bydgoszcz fans don`t want I liga anymore. If Polonia could be relegated once again - this team will surely gone, and Polonia could stay there for a long long time... I don`t even want to think about it...We came back to Extraleague for another 57 years - at least Edited September 24, 2008 by Lawrence

Cant see it happening as surely they would be stronger than at least a couple i could mention??
Mateusz
The club just needs a man who knows how to speak with riders and sponsors. Who knows how to encourage them to sign their contracts with the club. As the current one is doing nothing. No one expects a dream team here but obviously no one wants the situation like 2 seasons ago, when we had a very weak team and finally dropped down to Division 1... Bydgoszcz nearly went to the wall circa 2003 and the reason was the amount of money going into the pockets of Mr Gollob. I think, but I'm not sure, that the current chairman rescued the club from that crisis. No, it was a different man then. The current chairman came in 2007 and immediately sent us to Division 1 Edited September 25, 2008 by Mateusz
