pirateandi
According to http://soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?id=motorsport there is the Czech Golden Helmet at 15:00 European time, though I have to say that yesterday's feed of the World U-21 Final at the same Pardubice track was not a good quality stream. That was at http://www.justin.tv/zuzeltv, which may be worth checking out today. just found itv24 at 5.30pm it says gora are riding at home is this right ? Mateusz
Andreas Jonsson, Emil Sajfutdinov, Jonas Davidsson and Krzysztof Buczkowski signed their contracts for 2009 with Polonia Bydgoszcz today. AJ signed for 2 years already. Rafal Okoniewski will probably stay in Bydgoszcz as well The new rider to join the team is going to be... Antonio Lindback! My sources are saying T.Rick is coming back to the game and going to build a pro speedway team with Saifutdinov and Lindback in the line-up I think Lindback is a big unknown but under T.Rick's wings he may be flying very high. Time will tell... At the moment it's all very unofficial, maybe even rumours. Edited October 6, 2008 by Mateusz

In the playoff of the Allsvenskan in Sweden, Lindback was absolutely outstanding and lost only one point in 18 heats. For me its no doubt that Lindback soon will be back where he belongs, in the top. T. Rick has something going on, in an interview with Swedish Radio, he said he has some project but wanted to keep it secret for a while. If that is the entire top end filled, it's not looking the best for you guys for next season The suggestion that TRick might be coming back to get involved in the sport again sounds exciting, especially if he could take Emil under his wing. There might be no stopping the kid if he gets that sort of backing and organisational assistance.

Think Lindback will be a terrific signing if he's got his head on cos he seemed to pick it up again at the back of the season after his comeback. Seem to recall him flying round Bydgoszcz when he came as an opposing rider, even passing Sajfutdinov with ease from the back which nobody seems to do!! Looks to be the start of a decent looking team although i presume a few more need to be added?? If they could somehow persuade a certain T Gollob back then things would really be on the up!! Niclas
Hasn't TRick already been helping Antonio this season?Along with Anders Mellgren i thought I am not sure, but I have seen T. Rick. around Antonio a couples of times this season and I am pretty sure Tony feels some kind of responsibility for Antonio (or that Antonio realise that Tony is the best help he can get). If Bydgoszcz sign Antonio, its an very interesting squad with AJ (27 yrs old), Rafael O (27), JD (24), AL (23), ES (19), KB (22). Bydgoszcz might need a kind of teamdaddy, a rider like Jason, Nicki, Leigh, Greg or Gollob. But even without an another toprider I am pretty sure the squad mentioned above could challenge the other teams. Noone in Sweden could imagine Lejonen to perform as good as they actually did, the only toprider was Nicki but he managed to get the rest to make tremendous efforts. Mateusz
If we sign Lindback and Okoniewski stays in, we'll only need one good u-21 rider to fil the line up, which would look as follows: 1. Jonsson 2. Davidsson 3. Lindback 4. Buczkowski 5. Okoniewski 6. (u-21) Sajfutdinov 7. (u-21) ... Our current second junior, Marcin Jedrzejewski, turns 22 next year so it was his last junior season. He'll probably be lent to one od Division 1 clubs. Another Bydgoszcz young boys like Damian Adamczak or Szymon Wozniak are gifted but not ready to ride in Ekstraliga yet, IMHO. So what we would need most is one top u-21 riders. Or one of world top riders instead of Okoniewski...

iris123
Seen Wozniak a few times now and he does look good. But he can only be about 16 years old.Didn't realise he was a Bydgoszcz rider

Got the makings of a decent effort but think it may be best to get a big name Number 1 instead of Okoniewski as from what i've seen this season he's been pretty inconsistant. Does the other U21 rider have to be polish then?? If so, there cant be many about that will make a big difference in the Ekstraliga?? Apart from Gollob, who else is available?? Was thinking maybe Crumpy as Wroclaw's team was very average last yr & he carried it most of the yr but then i remembered what he said after the GP that he never does well there!! See You on Speedway stadiums soon I think it goes without saying mate that i speak for every1 in saying the coverage was phenomenal this season. Never thought in a million yrs that i'd be able to watch meetings from one of the best race tracks in the world every week on the internet. Really really hope that the Ekstraliga sees sense & lets you carry on the fantastic coverage you bring us all every week from Bydgoszcz although knowing their ridiculous regulations then they'll probably throw a spanner in the works!! Wont be the same watching Polonia without your commentary so fingers x'd for next season and here's to a successful return to the big league for the team

I guess one team has to leave Extraliga, if its going to be Tarnow, will Kolodziej face a new address? Maybe something for Bydgoszcz. Tarnow also has a danish U21-rider, Patrick Hougaard who actually performed pretty good in the World final for U21 and ended up as number seven. Another rider for Bydgoszcz. Lawrence has already explained the situation.I don't really think it is "their ridiculous regulations".They own the rights to the tv coverage and thanks to that we have one or two meetings online every weekend. What is "ridiculous" about that. All companies that own rights want to get the best results from them. And like Lawrence says if they can come up with the money maybe they can carry on.Seems only sensible to me rather than "ridiculous" As I wrote above, Speedway Ekstarliga owns all rights for TV and Internet coverage. That`s why you are able to watch every [almost] Sunday ONE meeting in the Internet website [the 2nd one is broadcasted by TVP Sport but this channel is only on pay TV called nTV and in some cable operators [unfortunetely not in Bydgoszcz, that`s make me angry], and local TV on Monday to Tuesday night. But I hope that ITV24 will try to buy a rights for themselves from Eksttraliga for next season. We [iTV24] just need aout 40.000 or 45.000 zlotys [about 9.500 or 11.000 pounds]. And this is a small 3-4 man TV [incl. me] and sponsors are needed. But I hope it will be done. If not - sorry- there will be no iInternet coverage like this year.
