Bradford Ace
Just before i set off 2 Kirky Lane 2nite i thought i'd get this in quick!! Booked in at Bydgoszcz for the GP this yr & cant wait 4 the trip as we're managing to visit Warsaw, Bydgoszcz, Zielona Gora & also Poznan in just 3 nights!! Was following the Ekstraliga meetings yesterday & it struck me that i fancied taking in a normal league meeting in Poland as i understand the crowd's there are pretty huge as well, especially compared to a lot of tracks over here. Has anyone any suggestions on which would be the best track to visit for both racing & easy access?? By easy access i mean flights in prob on a sunday morn & home on the monday or even late sunday?? Fancy Bydgoszcz again although they are not in the top division although it could be tricky getting to in relation to flights in & out of there. Cheers.. You can fly direct to Gdansk from a couple of UK airports - we did it from Luton. The city centre is easy to get to from the airport and the stadium is easy from the city centre. Gdansk is lovely - for me it rates alongside Torun and Krakow as one of the most attractive Polish cities. Although the club is only in Division One, the stadium has terrific viewing and a good racetrack.
f-s-p
I'm quite impressed by the new stadium in Gorzow. Is it only for speedway, or do they play football there too?

I went in 2005 before direct flights were about, but returned in 2006.
