Lindbäck Makes Comeback

Recommended Posts

Antonio Lindbäck is making a comeback after quiting last season.

Antonio says that he will only race in Allsvenskan for Valsarna?

Good news

/ Mikael

good to see him back in the saddle if he takes it easy for a couple of seasons he's still young enough and talented enough to make it back to the big time

Probably due to the fact he can't drive to any away meetings

Ouch  and prepare to be shot down by every Pirates fan who sees this matey......

Fair play to him though it reminds me of the striker Thomas Brolin and his retirement from the football only to return a fat goalkkeper in the Swedish third division..... will we see the first plus size Allsvenskan Individual champion???

No - but at least he was man enough to realise he had made a mistake rather than go through life regretting his choices.

Far from being a rider a like , but good for him.

Or perhaps not so good.

How long before something goes wrong and he's retired again? And then back again? And then retired again? This looks to have all the makings of a disaster for me. I think he needs to take a little more time out. But, it's his life.

If true that is very good news.

He just needs to take his time though and do things when he feels ready and not when people pressure him to. Have heard that he's been learning a trade back in Sweden and having a totally different life so perhaps he's just going to dip his toes back in gently.

Good luck to him.

Very good news to hear.

Antonio is a super talent and to retire wasa mistake, though his thinking was probably not right at the time. GIve him a year of confidence building and we can hopefully see his return to these shores, wearing a Pirate suit of course.

Yes, apparently he's been working as a construction worker in Stockholm.

I reckon we could well see him back before the end of the season at Poole, good luck to the lad and lets hope that he can beat the demons that got to him. He always struck me as someone who struggled with the pressure.

He is doing it the right way one club one league to start off with, I hope that he realises which side his bread is buttered, and my advice to him would be if he was going to ride for another club in another league other than his native Swedan, then come to England and ride for the Pirates where he know is is loved.
