In case of tonights meeting not being able to take place the contingency plans have just been announced, all riders, mechanics, bikes and fans will be swiftly airlifted to Heathrow airport, they will then make their way to Wimbledon stadium where free tea and hotdogs will be made available.

A troupe of clowns will entertain you from the centre green, and when the SVEMO officials have finished their routine, Nigel Wagstaff will be on hand to sign copies of his new book "How to properly prepare a track on a really, really hot day"

As the meeting would be starting late the rules have ever so slightly been amended, all competitors will take to the track at the same time and will whiz round as fast as they can go, the last one standing will be declared the winner, there was an objection to this, because it was claimed that a certain track would have an advantage, because this happened EVERY week!

But, this was overruled because it was considered to be "unsporting" and "grossly exaggerated"

William Hill have stated that in the event of the contingency plans being utilised, Nicki Pedersen would be the short priced favourite.

There will also be a free draw, the lucky winner will get an all expenses paid meal with Ole Olsen, the runner up will get two all expenses paid meals with Ole Olsen! Have a nice day!

I've been trying to analyse why i got so upset about the GP farce . After all , its only a sport . It doesn't pay my wages or effect my life-span . It's not like i travelled hundreds of miles to see a sham , i just made another cup of tea and turned the channel over to watch a very good episode of Kojak .

In conclusion , i think i may have (or be) SAD .

How peeved am I??? Ok so the racing wasnt exactly fab and the track looked worse than what we've got at Hull but whey hey - my boy Scotty gets a second!!! It makes up for the farce last week and if I get my freebie ticket for next year as Posh bloke promises then Im happy.

The crowd last night didnt look that bothered about what was happening at all. Maybe they were just annoyed that the lovely start girls didnt hand pick them to escort the lads onto the infield (oh isnt sarcasm great) :D

And maybe they were mere passers by who had a free ticket thrust in their hands so the stadium didn't look completely bare :!:

Or am I being too much of a conspiracy theorist ;-)
