Tim Bungay

just reading one of the threads and some one mentioned tim bungay.tim had a long carrer inth sport riding for poole exeter and cradley heath among others.after racing tim had a plumming and heating company. he is now retired and spends all winter on his yatch in the caribbean.where the weather is warmer.he comes to england in late spring for a few months.he came in to my yacht chandlery a couple of years back fit and well

Just an update, Tim (born in 1938) is alive and kicking in the New Forest and having moved on from sailing in his home built 41' yacht to the Caribean can currently be found in his workshop restoring Norton 850 Commando's, 150 Tridents, a solitary CB750 Four and riding a modern Royal Enfield.

Good to read about Tim, I always associate him with Poole-I recall he was transferred to Newport in I think 1966 but unfortunately he had a bad accident and didn't appear too much for the Wasps-glad he's still enjoying life.
