Nevs
I cant be there-back to work-Craiggy boy has secured a lift with Big Al and Kim..Look after him Sandie and make him feel welcome Hope it goes well. Ok so i posted that as a reason to bump it top of section again rather than all this fuss about the other meetings Craigs looking forward to it as when Nick was at Exeter he duly saved all press cuttings for Nick each week as he asked him to and gave them to him at the end of the season. BigFatDave
....and of course its this weekend coming, Nevs, not last weekend or some time in the distant future. So who else is going - all the usual Newportonian Suspects, I presume?

Don't be so tight. Go to both about 1-3 at Newport, 90 minutes up to Brum so there for 4.30 and it doesn't start until 6 so you have 90 minutes extra between the meetings anyway. Nevs
Just received this press release from Tony Lethbridge. So rest assured its being pushed locally EXETER SPEEDWAY UPDATE Still without a track of their own Exeter speedway fans will be trekking across to Newport this Sunday (16 March) to support popular former Falcons reserve Nick Simmons’ testimonial meeting. Simmons has put together a top class line-up which will contest a 21 heat individual event. There will be plenty of Exeter interest as reigning British champion and Grand Prix winner Chris ‘Bomber’ Harris tops the bill and after his win in the Winter Classic at the Welsh track earlier this year must start favourite despite the presence of ex Newport Wasp and Danish international Niels-Kristian Iversen, and new Australian champion Chris Holder. Other former Exeter riders in the line-up are Falcons’ legend and all time highest point scorer Michael Coles, former skipper Paul Fry, and Leigh Lanham. Simmons’ meeting has certainly caught the imagination of the Falcons’ fans and those who stay in touch through the Exeter Forum have rallied round to sponsor a heat as well as Coles’ fuel, oil and insurance. Simmons rode for the Falcons from late in 2003 to midway through 2005, and was a member of Exeter’s Premier Trophy winning team. Sunday’s meeting starts at 1pm.
