tanya
First thing my dad said when he heard that Lewis Bridger was riding was that he was back to try and break the track record. I think that he and Chris Harris were having some good races before he pulled out of the NYC.

BigFatDave
You'd better shift me sponsorship to a deserving case, Sandie, maybe some young Pommy Up-and-comer who needs a responsible Mentor?
Sandie
You'd better shift me sponsorship to a deserving case, Sandie, maybe some young Pommy Up-and-comer who needs a responsible Mentor? Well - Does Rusty qualify. Nick must have a sense of humour as that is your deserving case.

themilkman23
Chris Durno has kindly offered his services to be the referee for Nick's Testimonial. Not only that, but he is happy for Nick to offer the chance to be his assistant for the day! Nick decided the easiest and fairest way to offer this to any fan up or down the country is to put it for auction on eBay. The item number is 260215030771 or you can search for it by it's title "Referee’s Assistant at the Nick Simmons Testimonial!" or you can click the link below: Ref's assistant for the day Any questions, feel free to pm me through here or eBay and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Happy bidding! Just to let people know who are bidding or want to bid on this unique opportunity is that a mistake was made by the person who listed this for auction (no idea why they have the same user ID as me ) and that instead of the auction ending at 7:30pm in the evening on Saturday as intended, it will actually end at 7:30 am in the morning. And no matter how many emails I, oops I mean the person who listed it incorrectly, send to ebay they won't change the end time. The only way would be to stop the auction and start again and with the item number being in the Speedway Star and with the large amount of bids already on it, that would be unfair. So if you do want a chance to win this, make sure you enter your absolute maximum bid either Friday night before you go to bed, or make sure you are up extra early on Saturday morning to snipe it at the last minute!
