tigerblues
Nicholls should be banned. It's that simple. They set the precident with riders last year being banned for missing this event. Zorro was banned for riding in a PLAY-OFF meeting, yet Nicholls can seemingly walk all over events like this without a care in the world? Absolute joke. Nicholls, AJ etc should be automaically given a 28 day ban if they fail to ride. Simple as that. Their reasons are NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Fans pay good money to come to events like this and want to se the top guys in action. I agree with both these statements. Zorro chose to ride for his Polish club in the play-offs when he missed the PLRC and was banned for 28 days and fined £1000. I wonder what excuses Nicholls and the others have given and whether they will recieve the same sort of punishment. At the time Zorro was crucified for that on here (yes I include myself in that) yet he was basically under pressure to ride from his team and still got a ban and a fine for prioritising his teams as we expect him to over here (when riding as a team, not individually). Yet Nicholls reckons he's "regrouping" (LMAO) for his joke of a GP campaign and as of yet there's no news of punishment (although I expect if there is any consistency then he will receive at least a fine) I get the point about it being a rearranged fixture but I just thought as a Brit who will be supported in the event by a lot of people he'd want to turn up to ride and try and give something back to the fans of Eastbourne - clearly not though. Subedei
Good to see this "re-focusing" having such a beneficial effect on the global superstar. He was inspired in Malilla tonight. Having Kelvin Tatum MBE to carry his crash helmet is really paying huge dividends.
