Mylor
You never cheer a british rider excuse me Jason Crump was born in Bristol how much more British can you get  I prefer my brits to ride for Team GB, be proud to wear the union jack, hold a British passport and look glum when the Aussies win. Nope..........he don't pass the test.............an Aussie he is, and proud of it.
Jive
So you really don't care then Jive as long as you get your GP fix on TV, oh dear, how sad! To right I don't care. I shall care when British Speedway gets its act together. Just face it that Britain is no longer the no1 place to be for speedway. No i'm not sad I can see reality and I'm very happy thank you very much  Going to the BSI world cup again? Oh no you don't like anything to do with BSI do you
Pete
You never cheer a british rider excuse me Jason Crump was born in Bristol how much more British can you get  He was born in Bristol? Well I never knew that, you'd think the Sky commentary team would tell you Oh and can someone explain to me why Mikael Karlsson is called Max now? shazzybird
excuse me Jason Crump was born in Bristol how much more British can you get  It wasn't so long ago that Jason Crump won a Round in the Grand Prix and when asked by the interviewer "Can we put this down to a win for Britain" Jason replied with "No, this is for Australia" So the answer to your question highlighted above is :- Jason Crump wants to be no more British. Than any Brit wants to be French! It serves a purpose for him having a dual passport but he wont ever fly under a Union Jack flag, Shame really as he is the closest we have to World Champion at the mo, nationality wise of course
Star Lady
As Sky keep telling us Crumpy was born in Bristol it must mean the FIM/BSI are going to change the rules (and oh yes they can do it  ) to make him British at some point in the future. I'm just ahead of my time
shazzybird
They can do what they want at the end of the day Jason Crump doesn't want to be British.
Derwent
And I have rung and emailed Sky, and still no answer I've e:mailed Nicola Sands at BSI who is their "media manager" to ask her if sky are showing it or not. If she replies I'll post the response on here.

No i'm not sad I can see reality and I'm very happy thank you very much I have to agree with Jive on this one. i find it quite laughable that the BSPA are up in arms, because the FIM (BSI) have dared to re-arrange the Scandinavian GP, causing mayhem to the BSPA's schedule. This would be the same BSPA who quite regularily re-arrange fixtures, with no consideration for the (travelling) supporters who have already arranged, holidays, accomodation etc. to put money the way of the promoters. I seem to remember a saying about those in glass houses, throwing stones?
Midnight_Lady
She certainly has a job that I would NOT want at the present time. Knowing Nicola she will cope with all the flak. However I am not sure her mobile number should have been put up here for any numpty to phone at will. It is okay her putting it in an email but it was not intended to be shared with the rest of the world :!:
Jive
Just a thought when the British GP ran over schedule you could watch the celebrations by pushing the red button and watching it on interactive, now does anyone think that maybe sky could do that for the gp? I know it will probably upset cable customers but it is just a thought?  And yes I do wanna see it does that make me sad? 8)

I'd bet a tenner that there hasn't been one British meeting called off because of the reason BSI have given for this postponement! Please give an example of an insignificant reason why a British fixture has been rearranged to back up your case. Not that I think laying a crap trap is insignificant but by your posting you are implying that the British promotors rearrange meetings at a whim. They have to take numerous factors into account when arranging matches too! I'm also pretty sure that even if a British promotor does rearrange a fixture he/she has/does take into account other clubs when doing so. It's not so much the fans I am considering here, although I feel sorry for them and I would be hell of an angry to be let down if it was me, but the date of rearrangement and effect it has had on other clubs!!!! Jive wrote: "Just face it that Britain is no longer the no1 place to be for speedway." I have certainly not implied that I think Britain in number one for speedway worldwide but IT IS FOR ME 100% and that's what I want to protect. Watching speedway on the box is not my priority. I suspect that a pre-recorded GP will be aired at around 9pm (like the old days). Pete
mark cox
SKY do a fantastic job for speedway.... but this lack of information is totally unprofessional... it must be catching! Never mind the future of British speedway. do we need to set our video recorders soon or what?! We've got people to see, places to go....
