iris123
Yes, it starts at 2pm local time. Kevin Wolbert beat Smolinski in a run-off last night to become the new German Champion. Congratulations to Kevin. As some know i have been tipping him for the top for a number of years now. But he really hasn't progressed as much as i thought he would over the last two years. But to beat Smoli does show his potential.Just hope he can really have a good season next year and move up a step.I personally hope he moves into a PL spot.Seems he wasn't fully fit for the German U21 Final but i thought he would have had a couple of those under his belt by now

iris123
So Iris who do you think will win? Tough one.Have to see if all those riders turn up.I think Antonio isn't riding. But Wolfslake look strong with their Polish Germans, alongside Ferjan and Ulamek.Olching have a pretty strong 1-4,but not sure about their youths. And also not sure what Hauzinger is doing. Is he fit or not?.Rode in Holland at the weekend(against Doctors orders according to Swindon),but isn't fit to ride for Swindon.Think it will be between those 2,depending,like i say on who turns up

schumi
Iris123 is a bit busy at the moment taking the mickey out of me so for anyone who didn't watch the updates, Olching won the Bundesliga.
spanner47
Iris123 is a bit busy at the moment taking the mickey out of me so for anyone who didn't watch the updates, Olching won the Bundesliga. And a bloody good afternoons entertainment too. For you people who travel to g.p.'s, you should really try the bundesliga final one day. 28 heats on a well prepared track, and the whole day cost just over £70 <plus whatever it costs to get to stansted>.This is the 3rd one i've been lucky enough to go to, and i will certainly be going again. Entertainment gauranteed!!!! Unlike the overpriced g.p. series.

If it is then it's better than Lakeside had for their league championship semi final with Swindon. I must get to watch one of these meetings at sometime. iris123
Yes.Attendance was 2500. But that isn't so great. The big open meetings at Güstrow and Teterow get somewhere between 5-8,000.Both on the same weekend along with the Grasstrack meeting on the Teterow Bergring. So on the same weekend you should get 2 grasstrack meetings(although the first day is just quali heats)in the afternoon and two speedway meetings at night.Güstrow is just about 30 minutes away from Teterow.Worth a look.Although it is a big hilly grasstrack, unlike anything we have,so the riders go off into the woods and you lose sight of them a fair bit,if you are by the beer stands
